90% of why people like this game are just things from the original 4 or re2's remake. This game does not stand on its own. Cattle will eat this slop up because its a remake of a well liked game and it's heavily marketed, but the truth is if this game didn't have a 4 at the end it would have sold less then 5, just like 8 did because it just isint very good. I might update this with more in-depth thoughts on the game itself as I play more, but most people have already made up their minds (or had marketers and gender challenged people decide for them). Also Denuvo sucks

Update: Its been a while, Mercenaries is in but Ada, Wesker, and Waterworld are not in it. I'm not paying extra ♥♥♥♥ Capcom and ♥♥♥♥ dlc

Update 2: I actually wrote a real review for this game to replace what I've put here so far but I refuse to post it unless they finish the damn game (they won't). We are weeks out and the game still does not have content parity with the ps2/wii release. All RE engine games I played at launch have had this drip feed content ♥♥♥♥ and its one the worst part of all these games. Ada had two mini campaigns and from the sound of it, not only will we have to wait months for something that was on the disk of the original, but one of them probably wont be remade at all. For every part of this game that met my expectations or blew past them, there's at least one baffling thing to balance it out. Where's the RPD uniform?!?!?

If you like Sonic buy this game last. If you already played all the Sonic games on steam then emulate the ps2 version of Unleashed or try a spinoff first. Literally try anything else. This game's levels are very short and while I did have fun sometimes most of it felt like a chore. Everything seems half-baked I think I spent more time noticing the games shortcomings then playing it. This might be controversial but I like 06 better, aside from the loading times I have more fun playing that. EDIT: forgot to say 99% of the game is absurdly easy.

This game was okay pre update. Pretty great compared to the new one. Unfortunately they're trying to push another launcher and have broken borderless mode. I don't want epic ♥♥♥♥ on my computer and as of writing this they don't even update the store page to clarify that you need to install additional software.
