Great game (and expansion DLC) even years after release and I'm still finding new content and challenge.

Got this games apart of the humble bundle subscription and I am pleasantly thankful of experiencing the game. It is a casual experience with some interesting ideas/mechanics that kept me on my toes in the beginning and by the end I felt that I understood the processes well enough that I was able to enjoy the story(and side stories) without the pressure.
Great quick experience with multiple endings that made the replay experience worth the try.

Definitely a good surprise of a game. The story was engaging and the time spent was definitely just right. I would recommend to anyone who has a few hours and some curiosity that is satisfied by pick your own adventure books.

The game is nice and concise. I enjoyed the game-play loop and the bit sized story, that is well paced and kept me interested to find out more. The game is short but also does not need to be longer.

The journey has been worth it to end it with this game. The Yakuza era of Like a Dragon ends with this one.
Great story, gameplay, and love letter to this arc of the franchise.
The game plays exceptionally and shows the passion that went into it.
Beware though this a somewhat demanding game graphically (more so than the others)

Play as four different characters for the fourth game, what will they think of next. This game is great. It's 4 (they are linked though) main stories in one game.

I am not a fan of babysitting kids for as long as this game had me doing so before the action portions of the game. When it did pick up it was flat in comparison to the rest of the franchise (compared to 0-6, Kiwami included).
This game needed the Kiwami treatment even though the story is very disappointing. If you are not invested in the franchise like I was just skip this one and proceed to 4, you are not missing anything (except frustrating controls) narratively.

It is narratively weaker than the first but builds upon it everywhere else with grace.
Just play it...play both of them.

This is where I began my Yakuza journey and oh what a journey it has been.
The game is very well polished and offers such a great intro into the franchise.
What I take a hard time with is whether to recommend starting with this game or with Kiwami 1, then coming to this after 6. Looking back I would personally do so because of of how current the game is compared to the rest, Kiwami 1 and 2 are full remakes and they were released on the new engine. Narrative wise I don't regret starting with this game though, it is the reason I got hooked to the franchise.
The game is great... just wow. Play it and get into the chaos that it is.
