This game is total space ♥♥♥♥.

As someone who even loved Advanced Warfare, I was underwhelmed. They should have just changed the name of the game at this point.

It has some game breaking bugs. I was stuck around the final mission because one ♥♥♥♥♥ decided to not move, restarted the whole mission. Multiplayer and Zombies mode are completely dead. They crashe randomly in few minutes (Win 11), plus none players I could find. From what I played, Zombies felt good like in BO3.

Also, compared to all the other in the series, Veteran was insanely difficult. While Hardened was significantly easier. lol

For the campaign, there were one or two epic story & gameplay moments here and there, which let me not go lower on the rating. But it's not what it should have been... with that greedy price, and game breaking bugs with underwhelming campaign, it's a product of corporate greed.

Not necessarily a bad one, but its a disappointing one.

It's a solid game, especially if you are a fan of hand to hand combat similar to Sleeping Dogs, Mad Max, Middle Earth, etc. Graphics are good for the year of release. And Joker didn't disappoint at all. The whole game takes place in Arkham Asylum island... like a mini-open world game where the mad man tries to stop you from stopping him by using his very creative ideas lol.

But before you play it, make sure to remaster the game using the following 2 guides:

• Cutscene Remaster

All you have to do is install Asylum Reborn and AsylumHD Texture Packs using a very simple and easy tool TFC Installer. Then unload Advance Launcher exe and Remastered Cutscenes into the game directory. Make sure to disable PhysX for higher FPS.

Then you can enjoy the game.

Fix the game, especially that nasty blur. That's your first mission in the game! I made a guide for that mission because it's another bad PC port from Mafia. It has some annoying bugs too.

For the game, yeah the main campaign itself is repetitive. You have to conquer 9 districts, with 2 rackets each, for 3 of your underbosses. I had enough motivation to play through, thanks to its amazing documentary style story, characters, and gameplay. And the opening intro was total banger too! That music is lit! Full vibe.

And the 3 story DLCs were good too. Growing your weed farm business, establishing back Sammy's bar, with one Wildlands experience. Its all good.

Take control over city district by district, assigning it to your underbosses... where your choices do matter. Very similar to Ubisoft open world games formula, that I already love.

I understand why this game has mixed reviews because of it's repetitive nature, but if you are able to go past that, its fantastic game.

You start building your city, and you lose track of your real world time. Only realise when you are already tired af!

This game is addictive. Don't expect New York city or something on your first city build. You'll probably make a City very depressing. But you will learn with mistakes. Game is basically endless, your creativity is the limit. Endless workshop items make it overwhelming. If you are a perfectionist, you can unleash that in your city.

Building and managing a city is not so easy as a beginner. You'll go negative in cash. Loan would pile up. Residents will die with your sewer drinking water. There won't be a place to cremate so many dead bodies. City will become a dumpyard. Remaining people won't pay higher taxes and leave the city/die. But you'll learn fast. And as you do, you won't bother to complaint your city traffic in real life. Game gave me some legit life lessons.

Stuttering performance and graphics could have been improved. Otherwise its an A-grade sim highly recommended.

First off, very very buggy game.

The DLCs suck.. like bruh wtf is that. "No content is better than ♥♥♥♥ content". As it reflects on the game's overall quality.. Mafia fans don't need cheap ass copy paste mission mod pack made for kids. Heck I have seen significantly better games made by individuals than these DLCs.

For reference, I failed some DLC missions so many times because you are made cuckold in car while multiple gangbanging enemies shoot at you, or maybe because I missed timer by few seconds. Mission timers makes 0 sense in those missions I am saying you. I left them unfinished because I don't need more chores in my life.

And after their recent unwanted update, gotta make sure to play without that stupid garbage launcher too.

Apart from these ♥♥♥♥ ups, the 12 hrs base game is awesome. Highly recommend this after Mafia 1.

GR1 was hardcore. I was badly struggling in that game but managed to finish it. Thankfully, GR2 is a massive improvement over GR1 imo. Blocking is now cooler and easier. Graphics are still juicy-neony-and-reflective for significant part. Performance is fine. And difficulty felt much more natural to me.

But if you ask me would I ever like to play GR games again? Probably never.
I was worried htf m gonna justify the price I paid because I brought GR2 before playing 1. But am at ease now that I finished it.

Moreover, some levels in this game have huge environment. Almost like mini open world. They added just for the name sake and it was raw and not that interesting at all.

Overall, If you are looking for a stylish single shot kill and death action game, and don't mind generic story... this game is for you

If you played Detroit, and wanted more from Quantic Dream... this game may just fulfill your hunger. Sure it's not as significant as Detroit, but it has its moment with great story telling especially near the epilogue where things could get a little emotional.

Regarding other reviews ranting about bad mouse controls, they are legit. It sucks, it could get irritating on repeated occasion. It's simply a bad design. But its manageable at least. Some UI elements are also confusing like the choice list we get after every mission. Plus significant part of the gameplay has letterbox (thick top and bottom black borders) to make it appear cinematic, but it only makes it look worse. Game needs some serious QOL improvements.

Other than that, It's good. Pick it up for story, dump it up for controls.

UPDATE: Free GOG key with Amazon Prime Gaming

Mafia DE exceptionally captures Gangster Mafia vibes unlike anything seen before. A must play for mature teens and adults.

Sure you won't wanna do the infamous race mission. But its a race you can't Refuse. Just remember to use ram ("F") in curves, and cut through cars via grass... otherwise you might get stuck in that loop forever.

Be prepared, If good graphic and design gives you orgasm, you are going to shiver whole time.

Unfortunately the engine forces 60hz so go Borderless + Vsync off. Plus they added their own launcher now, which nobody asked for. You can disable it via settings or custom command. I recommend you to use LS Frame Generation if you want more FPS.

This is an outstanding 12 hrs highly emotional game. Opening mission itself is so special that it hooked me right into the game. Gave goosebumps.

If you choose your actions wisely, the story will dip you in emotions, they are highly thought-provoking. Make sure you play in casual/easy difficulty, unless you are fond of quick random button smashing sequences.

I HIGHLY encourage you to not get any of your Android dead because I lost Kara by being too innocent and missed a ton of great missions on 1st playthrough. You could totally ♥♥♥ up your story if you want to lol, don't do that. If you made mistake, just reload from flowchart. Choices significantly change the gameplay and story, much more than you expect. That's why I went through this experience twice before reviewing.

I was totally in love with most of the characters. Even the main menu has an Android Chloe and you could spend a lot of time just listening and looking at her expressions.

Delay playing this is only a curse you are giving to yourself. Check documentary and surveys if you release yourself from this curse and play the masterpiece.

Activision hates aside, MAN THE CAMPAIGN IS SO DAMN GOOD

Story had a Solid start and end. Engine optimization is fantastic despite mind blowing graphics even for a decade later.
Play any mission and you can say that the production value of this game is insane! There were many epic moments. Total badass at times. And despite the criticism, I loved all the techs, gadgets, etc. I didn't expect so much fun after playing Ghost.

Multiplayer and Zombie stuffs are dead. I don't understand the hate this game got, maybe its due to the pricing. It's ridiculous like every other COD yeah. But the campaign is a MUST PLAY.

Standalone story, jump right into the game right now.
