Early Access Review
I don't write reviews, but this game deserves one.

This game has gone from collecting dust in my library to being the most satisfying FPS I own. The changes made in the latest update removed all of the issues I had with the clunkiness of the shooter and I can't stop playing it now.

Let me be clear, I thought this game was garbage before the update. The infantry movement, and subsequently the combat, was just awful and felt extremely rigid. The update introduced changes that are night and day with the past system and this is the most natural feeling FPS out there. There are a few quirks still, but things move at the perfect pace for a tactical shooter. Not too fast and not too slow.

These devs managed to find the perfect balance between arcade and simulation, taking the best aspects from each and blending them together beautifully. Here is how I see it (Arcade --> Simulator):
Call of Duty --> Battlefield --> Hell Let Loose --> Post Scriptum / Squad --> Arma

I'm also a sucker for great graphics and this game definitely delivers on that too. I know there are some optimization issues going on right now but my 2080ti has been a true champ and gotten us through these difficult times. The maps on Hell Let Loose are incredibly detailed and well done.

If you haven't bought the game yet, give it a chance. It's the best WWII shooter available right now and its only going to improve going forward.
