It's very good even with early access.

There were game breaking bugs, that would make your save unplayable, but devs already patched a lot of them, just on day 2 of release, so it's doing well.

Siege defense is pretty bad with AI to be honest, very hard to command them.
Also a lot of stuttering during combat, but it's still fun playing.

update: patch e1.0.4 fixed the stuttering, i am happier now
