I have never been able to conquer the Nuclear Throne and honestly, I don't think I want to. It's the incessant struggle to survive, and the sheer joy from summoning the grit it takes to get back up and go at it again, that makes this game an experience I will always come back to.

Also, that epic, heart-pumping soundtrack.

This game is so freaking fun, and has so much more freaking depth than first appears. Well worth your money, whether you buy it on sale or not. Just make sure you have a buddy to play it with side by side at the same computer - no online multiplayer here. Laughs, gasps, shrieks and fun will be had!

Vindictus is an odd combination of playing Barbies and smashing things to bits.

A great northwestern mashup of Twin-Peaksian supernatural mystery and the youthful vibe (and jargon) of Juno, with "Pornstache" from Orange is the New Black as a petty (yet very frustrating) villain.

I was amped up for more after the first episode and definitely wouldn't mind another playthough as well. Quite a progressive and positive step for Square Enix.

If you play this game like Age of Empires you will die.
