Bethesda really doesn't support its modders with this new update. Can't play the game unless connected and with the update.

There are workarounds but it takes a bit of effort to complete and play a version rollback. Game franchises prove time and time again the community cares more and could do more service to the content, whether its a game, dlc, an live action adaptation, etc.

Project Zomboid's attention to detail and creative freedom to craft your own zombie apocalypse from scratch to live and die in is wild, even without any (currently) friendly, enemy, or animal NPC's. You can immerse yourself deeply within the world with the sandbox options you set, or utilize one of the many presets the game already has. It's no ordinary survival game, from layering up or down due to the cold or heat, drying your clothes when wet with a towel or dryer, using soap to wash them by hand or machine, disinfecting and suturing wounds before bandaging, opening cans with a can opener and eating from them with a spoon/fork if you have one, racking your shotgun after reloading, loading mags by hand, tripping and falling down on your face, jumping fences, hotwiring cars, smashing and breaking through windows, getting cut from glass, damage to your feet when running with no shoes- you'll always be on your toes and fully immersed, & with its isometric view you almost think you're playing a Runescape-DayZ. Singleplayer is really fun but add some friends in Multiplayer and you'll be playing for hours and hours.

Love this game with friends, lots of replayability, the developers listen to the community, quality of life updates, new maps, new ghost types, new items. UI is very simple to understand, sleek, very optimized. Hopefully they make a sequel where the players are exorcists. The learning curve isn't too rough and can easily be achieved as long as the player faces their fears of the ghost to complete objectives.

Multiplayer community is hit or miss, either really cool people and new PC gamers or the bottom of the barrel of the gaming community.

Hundreds of hours of fun with friends or public matchmaking. Good community, difficulty scaling and learning curve are very fair, developers consistently update, new additions to DLC or new maps and seasonal events.

Takes a second to boot the game up especially without an SSD, and even then its slow. Sometimes the game will freeze and crash but if you reconnect fast enough you won't have lost any progress besides death and any guns you had for that round

Tons of fun back in the day in conjunction with LogMeIn Hamachi. At first glance, spooky jump scares and kind of interesting story. If you expect AAA quality, you won't enjoy it. Kind of have to drink the koolaid and want to have fun. Always will recommend this with friends, solo is very dry and drags on.

Fun with friends, economy sucks. Player-base was booming on release, less than 500 online daily as of October 2021. Great filler-game to play when in-between games, bored, or wanting something to try. I'd say game-play gets stale around level 15-20 and becomes the grind for the end-game.

This game is tons of fun with buddies, hours of exploring, learning, joking around and dying together. Some mechanics make the game kind of slow/grindy but as long as you keep the difficulty up there will never be a dull moment.

Solo play is okay, it gets lonely and you will often become disinterested and bored within the first 40hrs.

So much replayability. Few bugs but you can work around it if you have the right PC and have all drivers updated.
