Abiotic Factor is a fresh take on the survival genre that wears its influences on its sleeves. Stranded deep in a research complex on your first day of work, you must fight for your life with everything you can scrape together from duct tape, office chairs and printer parts and whatever else you can find and strip for usable scraps.

Discovery is key as you find new sectors of the facility, invent new recipes to craft items and find out just what has happened to cause this cataclysm. Exploring is a joy and you will often find clever paths that open shortcuts between areas or treasures that help you take the next step in progression.

So far Abiotic Factor has been a great survival experience that I believe will only get better as it gets more updates. Highly recommended even in early access state!

Czechoslovakia needs you, comrade!

HROT is basically Czech Quake. Very brown and very tight in it's design, the game has a sense of humor and lends itself to some wacky bosses and jokes that can make you laugh out loud. That said, there are some surprisingly spooky moments and a couple of jump scares which you might want to watch out for. If you are familiar with Czechoslovakia and it's history, you will get more out of the game and it's references of real places, people and Czech culture.

In summary, very good retraux FPS that you should play especially if you like Quake.

If singleplayer shooters are your thing, you owe it to yourself to play Selaco.

Selaco is a frantic and kinetic shooter that embodies the good old Half-Life tagline: "Run. Think. Shoot. Live". It's not surprising to learn that Half-Life and other shooters of old such as F.E.A.R are huge influences here. The result is a game that even in Early Access is greater than the sum of it's parts and is something that is shaping up to be something truly special.

Hectic combat, intelligent AI, meaty guns, pumping soundtrack. It has it all to be a true indie shooter classic.

Super speedy combat and almost unlimited player movement form an excellent core for a shooter in Echo Point Nova. Armed with a grapple, a hoverboard and a surprisingly grounded selection of guns you take on an unscrupulous mercenary company trying to exploit a planet for it's artifacts. That's really all you need to know to start blasting your way through their ranks and various super weapons in interesting "colossus" bossfights through the game's open world consisting of numerous floating islands.

The game has a story but it's mostly there to just give you a reason to skate around 200km/h doing flips and 360 noscopes with a .50 cal sniper rifle or an RPG. In short, Echo Point Nova is a really solid FPS, that you should get if you:

- enjoy being hyper mobile in a very freeform environment
- like realistic guns and upgrading them by using them enough
- rather skip the story and just get right into the action
- want a game that's rather straightforward to 100%

Short, sweet and clever beyond the borders of its medium. If you have played Daniel Mullins' later creations, you should also check out Pony Island and its bag of tricks.

Consistently funny, smart and engaging, Tales from the Borderlands is some of the finest Telltale ever made. If you're familiar with the Telltale formula and enjoy Borderlands and it's quirky humor, this is a game for you.

Boss rush game with truly an all-timer of a soundtrack. Very tight encounters even if some of them might seem like they drag on just a tad too long. Excusable though, because it lets you listen to the songs for longer.

This game is for you if you:
- like fighting well designed bosses
- enjoy excellent electronic music
- don't mind a proper challenge (this game is HARD sometimes!)

Sekiro shines with its extremely satisfying combat system that might just be the best of all FromSoftware games. It feels very fair with the ability to negate damage by parrying, allowing some really cool skill expression to take place in fights. Also has a beautiful world full of Japanese culture and mythology that seems grounded even with all the magical elements. Even the story is more straightforward (in a good way) compared to other Soulsborne games, with more character focused moments that drive the plot forward.

This game is for you if you:
- like Japanese culture and mythology
- enjoy difficult but fair combat
- love improving by getting better mechanically

Noita is a fun, chaotic and difficult game about magic and killing things with Finnish names. The deeper you delve in the run, the more insane the enemies and the magic gets. Killing yourself with unknown spells is very easy. The game also has very complex secrets, that are not really possible for one person to figure out on their own. Don't feel bad about looking those up if you want to experience all this game has to offer.

This game is for you if you:
- like roguelikes/roguelites and enjoy randomness
- enjoy experimenting, finding out what each spell does (and don't mind the often deadly results)
- seek secrets and other hidden things in your games

An evolution of the DOOM formula, increasing tactical options while making the player consider them in the middle of hectic combat encounters. Mastering these decisions is the key to victory and will leave panting at the end of an intense fight.

This game is for you if you:
- enjoy fast paced and challenging FPS combat
- don't mind having to use all of your arsenal instead of just using one gun
- like heavy metal music and aesthetics
