At this point, I believe it would be a sin not to own this game.

IF you have friends to play with, this is a must have. If not, don't waste your money, the game is basically impossible solo.

Reviewed this as negative at one point, but honestly I can't say it is negative.
CS2 is allowing me to relive childhood memories with friend, and nothing about the experience has been negative.

I got the software.
I launched the software.
I got what seemed to be a beefy live wallpaper that was audio reactive and responsive to mouse movement.
I opened task manager.
I was amazed at how little memory the app actually took up.
*clap clap* for one hell of a program!

This one may be a tad long, but hang in there.

Having multiple accounts with this game, I have accumulated around 4.5k hours in it (Approximately 6 straight months of playtime). This game has given me every single thing from the highest ups and the lowest downs possible. I have seen some of the war scenarios in this game last for days and have even taken part in some of them, and those have to be some of the most exhilarating and fun times I have ever had in my gaming career. One thing many people still buy this game for is the much applauded DayZ mod developed by Dean "Rocket" Hall [en.wikipedia.org] . DayZ has offered a multitude of things over the years, including things such as open world survival, PVP and PVE combat, expansive base building, zombie apocalyptic scenarios, and one of the first open world zombie survival titles to be released on an engine that looks better than your average minecraft clone. Around 2,000 hours of my Arma experience was spent in the lands of Taviana, Namalsk, and Chernarus, defending my gear against hordes of zeds and staying up all night building bases to fly around the map and kill AI with a group of 15 or so friends. This game has allowed me to meet a plethora of people and learn a fairly large amount of things not only about game design and game mechanics, but trying out coding with this game, it gave me an amazing foundation in software engineering and learning how code works. Though I digress, this game holds an amazing place in my heart and always will, but I can not say that everything is amazing for it. Arma 2 OA in particular has an engine that, at the time, was based solely around CPU performance, which back then seemed as a good idea, but has almost become abismal. Even on a high end rig, you will encounter some major frame drops and hard to load game assets. BattleEye has to be one of the most abysmal anti cheat engines on the planet, so much so that the famous in game anti cheat engine InfiStar is typically preferred over BE. The reason that I have so many accounts with this game is actually due to the amount of false bans I have had with BE. These bans are rare within the player base (they used to be much worse), but they still do occur. Though I must say, that as far as keeping a game cheater free, BE has done an amazing job, probably the best out of the major anti cheat engines that exist today. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone who is wanting to get into the open world survival world, military simulation world, or even (in some cases), the MMO world. It has proven to me to be the best game I have ever had my hands on, and will remain as so for years to come.

By far one of my favourite games of all time. I have played Borderlands since around October of 2009, and the second game amazed me just as much as the first. With endless weapons and enemies to consume your time with, you will almost never get tired of this game. If you just so happen to find yourself getting bored, you could accompany yourself with one of the 9 DLCs for the game, five of which (on sale) can be around $0.99 as well! Beyond amazing title, with truly great developers. A+ from me.

If you're coming from the same pre-xbox360 Minecraft release, looking to get some memories back, don't.
Not yet at least.

The game is very unfinished and will require some tweaking to make it feel polished.
Just give it some time, and let the devs do their thing, or the modding community do their thing.

One of the absolute best free to play games in existence.
Devs that care, not money hungry, free dlc, thousands (literally thousands) of hours of content.
Doesn't get much better.
