Fine Ill review it.

Its a good game, but entry is probably expensive to someone new to the total warhammer series. You run into the same issue with many of the best paradox games:

Base game is decent, but with all the DLC it may be phenomenal.

The amount of content available may scare away newer players, but Id say its worth it to try out the base game/lords, decide if its for you, and then add some content to your library when they have sales. Plenty of community feedback on which DLCs are worth it or 'the best' and sales seem to happen regularly.

Never played Dark Souls, but this game is a winner. Some wont like the unforgiving nature of the game, but it makes the experience much more rewarding.

Have experienced no performance issues that so many others have complained about. Running the game on a 2080Ti, so not the newest card out there. Just recommend updating your drivers prior to launching the game for the first time.

The story is great, but the combat is phenomenal.

Great game for the price point without the issues of a typical early access game on Steam. Definitely listen to the suggestion in the description of the game "We recommend playing co-op with 3-5 players." You will want a group for Boss fights, recovering your lost gear if you die, and a more fulfilling experience all around.

Highly recommend the game.

My first experience with an ace combat game, but i loved star fox on n64. Fun game. Beautiful graphics. Decent story so far (5missions in). Not sure why so many people are having issues, but i have used an xbox controller and its been a great experience so far. No bugs or glitches. Good change of pace from my typical gaming genres. A lot of unlockables. New planes, weapons, equipment, skins, etc.

First off, I never really write reviews on steam, but I personally think this is a great game through and through.

1. The hope/discontent dynamic is a great concept. You can lose simply by sucking at meeting your peoples needs(theyll depose you)
2. Interesting choices to be made as you progress as you balance hope/discontent and struggle just to keep generator running at night.
3. Exploration aspect is an interesting spin on the genre - send your expeditions to search for more survivors and loot.. even setup 'outposts' for additional resources separate from your city.

My only negative would be the length of the game itself. So far there are only 3 scenarios to play, but with the devs promising more content down the line, I am happy with my purchase.

Note "more content" will not mean additional purchases, from what I read this will be included with your purchase of the game. I look forward to seeing what else they can bring to the table to enhance and already solid title.

Game of thrones mod makes it kind of fun. Very long play time to complete a game.
