I'll pirate this, you lost a faithful fan capcom

I can't recommend this game to anyone, here's why:

-gate keeping culture. You won't experience latest content if you're a damage dealer class simply due to lack of supports and abundance of damage dealers. You'll be staring at a lobby screen and scrolling through a dozen of lobby rooms named ''LF SUPPORT'', making your own room is pointless because you'll be waiting for a support for hours only for your party to disband after first wipe. Of course if you have many friends and a guild you're good to go, for the introverts I'm gonna say sorry guys and gals - don't waste your time here.

-the western publisher doesn't care. About anything. At all. Taiwanese release has been announced and it promises many ways to deal with bots, one of which is registration using a phone number, employing a real person so he manually bans bots, no censorship on female skins, you get the gist of it. The western release is a short time gamble to squeeze as much money in as little time as possible, my predictions for 2023 will be around 40+ thousand concurrent players gate-keeping each other and crying on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forums by the end of the year.

-one of the most toxic communities I've seen, your mistakes during the end-game raids will be intolerable and you'll be swiftly removed from the party. You're a new player ? You'll be playing alone for the first 300 hours. When you reach T3 you'll probably get denied from the parties due to your engravings not being up to their standard. To reach that said ''standard'' you'll have to pay a lot of money for engravings, accessories and gems which either will make you RMT or quit when the realization comes. One of the most unfriendliest game for a new player to ever exist.

-the routine of a non-casual lost ark player is to waste 4-6 hours a day managing 6+ alternative characters, doing chaos dungeons, guardian raids, legion raids, abyssal raids with EACH SINGLE OF THEM. If you like doing same monotonous, soul sucking in-game manual labor for 4-6 hours every single day and it's your jam, go for it. It's a classic Korean MMO formula and the soulless grind is the core of it.

-currently the world is empty apart from few hub areas, the days are long gone when you would meet a player on a strange remote island, the horizontal content has been done long time ago by the majority of players. This game barely classifies as mmo IMO

Please find another game to play, this ain't it.

Do you hear that ? It's a whistle of the wind going through the cracks in the darkness. The place is abandoned and looks like the God himself forgot about it. Not a glimmer of hope and no sight of intelligent life has emerged since the launch of this unannounced game that no one wanted or cared about. This is the state of Resident Evil Resistance.

Now you will be wondering, how the heck could this happen ? Greed. Greed and incompetence. Lets go through the list of tumors this game is covered in shall we ?

-very very poor balancing and matchmaking. Masterminds are able to kill all of the survivors in a matter of minutes with a huge arsenal of overpowered weapons.

-almost no penalty for leaving the game. You caught a glimpse of Nicolai's level which has 3 digits ? Not to worry my son, in such cases Capcom has implemented an easy option to leave the game! That's right, now you can ruin the game for others without penalties in hopes the other mastermind is playing an underpowered character or maybe a newbie versus whom you would have a slight chance at winning.

-in game currency, booster packs and lootboxes, the plague which Capcom has embraced fully.

-P2P servers. Now you too can enjoy Diego Tyrone LeShawn de Maradona's from southern Brazil internet speed connection and experience the definition of stuttering, lag and latency at most crucial moments of the game! You're about to be bitten in the face by a zombie dog ? Well too bad because a wild Macaw bird has decided to chew off Diego's internet cable.

-dwindling player numbers. Like an abused housewife, the playerbase took it all of the above in hopes the situation will get better. ''Surely Capcom will not abandon us! Some of us paid for the game full price just so we can play Resistance! Look, they even have the update schedule witch they will follow and keep the game fresh and interesting!'' None of that happened. With each update the game goes into a spiral of overpowered skills, items and abilities. It's now impossible for a new player to enjoy the game because as soon as he joins the game a sprinting fat zombie is rushing to his virgin asscheeks without knowing what will happen next. LO AND BEHOLD the next thing he sees is his neck is being chewed on and he didn't even manage to choose an item from the shop.

I believed, I hoped the things will get better. I was a naive fool. The game has died and there is nothing they can do to bring it back. Capcom even unlisted Resistance from the steam store so it will not appear in search which basically sums up the whole ordeal.

10/10 best game of 2020 yet

A great polished game that has a huge amount of replayability.
