Helldivers 1 is one of my favorite games, and I was very skeptical of a boots-on-the ground transition, but I am not disappointed. The procedural missions and maps are as clean and replayable as dungeons in Deep Rock Galactic. The cosmetics and unlocks are very motivating for me to keep luring my friends in for more drops. The forgiving reinforcement system allowing me to get my fallen friends back into the fray really makes it great for the inevitable skill gap in a friend group.
