The game offers a variety of weapons to choose from, so it's incredibly nice to know that you have options and more than one way to play a game or approach a hunt. It becomes all that much greater when you get the hang of things and start to become more open to learning other weapons, allowing you to become a better player as you continue to understand the game. Monster Hunter is fun to play solo, yet it is so much more enjoyable playing with a group of friends and taking on what the game throws at you.

The only two issues I have with this game are how many unskippable cutscenes there are, and how the game teaches you to play it. This was my first Monster Hunter game and I am glad I am now very interested into the series, yet I only learned so much due to being guided by a friend that was willing to explain just about everything to me thoroughly. This could just be me, as I do not want to sit around and just read boxes and boxes of text, but once you get started with the game there is no issue. As for the amount and length of the cutscenes, it is nice that the game is story heavy, but some people just want to hunt and get to the gameplay. I believe the game would be better off with a skip cutscene button and continue to have the gallery there for the future, just in case you wanted to see what you missed. This also is an issue if you are looking to go for another run, as it does become quite daunting knowing all the cutscenes you will have to sit around and wait for.

That being said, those two gripes are so minor in the grander scale of things, and Monster Hunter: World is an overall incredible game that everyone should experience at least once.
