Very interesting survivorlike distinguished by its dense atmosphere and more serious setting with intriguing lore. Heavy emphasis on item and inventory management. We have a huge variety of classes and original idea with alchemy and potions. Definitely worth a try for genre fans!

Ultimate micro-management experience!

I'm on the beggining of my journey with this great title and I already see the true magic in it. Each individual city is a very challenging and absolutely addictive 2-4 hours adventure. The number of variable factors affecting gameplay makes the pleasure of optimizing processes and working on what we get exceed all of my expectations. At the same time, after around 20h of playing, we discover most of the game's mechanics and everything seems clear and simple, so the only challange is to use this knowledge in changing environment.

Totally reccomended for strategy lovers, who won't be sad when abandoning their well-optimized, good-looking villages just to move on to the next ones following the rougelite mechanics.

P.S I'm so proud we have such great game developers in Poland.

The most accessible and addictive rally game on the market. Amazing graphics, amazing sound, amazing music. There is no need to always play championships to be gripped in as classic time trails with your favourite car can be enough to give you an enormous amount of fun. All of the above compensates for a slightly less realistic driving model (cars sometimes seem too light) and an over-forgiving damage model compared to the legendary Richard Burn's Rally. But it's the accessibility and simplicity that makes you want to come back to Dirt, not RBR.

Oh yes, the bar is set very high and I am afraid (let's hope wrongly) that Codemasters and EA may not repeat this success in November. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I would like to plan my life as precisely as I plan a single trip to the dungeon.

Game itself is a good hack-n'-slash with a great variety of skills and items. Unfortunately - it's the end of the upsides. For me, everything else is just weak and thus the game don't deserve around 90% on Steam. In my opinion it is 7/10 and if the game has around 65% on Steam I would mark this review as "recommend". I understand the cult status of the title and the nostalgia of players, but reviews should indicate the actual quality of the game to not mislead those who are considering buying it.

To add some context:
I'm a casual player, not a h-n'-s expert. Diablo series engrossed me incredibly. I haven't finished Titan Quest yet. In addition to these 15 hours I played around 12 hours on GOG on the same character. I got bored somewhere in the middle of act II. I started avoiding large numbers of monsters to make faster progress in the storyline. Now I'm in in act III and I'm stuck on the Typhon due to the fact I haven't grinded my hero enough. And I don't think I'm going to feel like sitting down again and grind another couple of hours to beat him and end the game.

Let me justify my attitude.

When I started the game I was feeling that some real adventure is ahead and I was really excited about it. Graphics is colorful, there is no gloomy atmosphere, gore and other depressing things. The story is based on mythology so everything sounds just perfect for me. And that's the way it is, until we play a few hours. After that we are starting to realise everything like level layout, monsters and quests is going to be the same over and over along the main story. Linear world is only changing colours; another monsters have different textures, but they have the same skill patterns and we just realise we saw them before; side quests involve straying from the main path 50 meters and killing some monster or talking to an NPC. There is nothing special in them.

NOTHING IS CHANGING
When I was somewhere in the middle of Act II I started to feel bored, cleaning similar levels by killing similar monsters over and over again and there was nothing else to amaze me and keep my attention. I played as a Warfare/Nature melee warrior and boss fights were like: stand still, hit, heal myself, hit, use potion, hit and so on...

ITEMS
Yes, items vary a lot and there is many possibilites by combaining them with varied skills, but:
There are too many of them, drop is too common - after every little fight we have to check around 5 items (at least gold ones, I'm skipping the greys ofc) and compare them with our equipement. You could say it's the main part of hack-n'-slash games, but the amount of them is just overwhelming and takes the joy out of the game for me. You need to always have the lying items shown on the screen to not miss anything - there is no option to just hold the button to show them for a second, we have to switch it on and off.

QUESTS
Main quest is always just "GO FORWARD AND YOU WILL FIND WHAT YOU NEED". Of course everything is justifed by the "save the world" plot and the plot itself is interesting enough, but this does not translate into enjoyment of the game as we are running through linear levels waiting till the quest marker appears. As I already said, side quests are mainly nothing interesting and to finish them we need to carefully search the level, find the target, speak to it or kill it and sometimes come back to city to end the quest. In addition to that, quests are not very well thought out. Just to give an example: some healer lost his stuff in the cave while running from the spiders. We enter the cave to retrieve it and what? Stuff is in the middle of the cave in the GOLD, SHINING CHEST surrounded by spiders - REALLY? On top of everything I listed are the dialogue boxes, which are too small what takes me personally out of immersion and detracts from their importance.

There are also couple of small issues like the fact that having two same summoned creatures leads to getting lost which one has how much hp as their health bars are not above them, but on the left of the screen and their "thumbnails" are just the same - we just don't know which creature should we heal. Such quality-of-life problems are common in many games and should not be considered as a blocker for playing or the reason to lower the game rating.

To summarise my opinion:
Game is a good enough hack-n'-slash, but the RPG/adventure side of it is bad. When you have fun in killing monsters over and over it's alright, but if you are looking for a good story, good dialogues, good side quests, a good adventure overall - you won't find it here. For players like me who don't like the grind and would like to only finish the main story line and the side quests (and DLCs if base game will be interesting enough) this game is boring as hell and no mythology setting as well as colourful, fantasy visuals are not going to save the experience.

The best game I've ever played. No doubt. I've spent here around 3k hours since I first played it as a kid and I can return to this masterpiece over and over. Bethesda makes awesome games. Skyrim is good, Morrowind is great, but Oblivion has so much magic in it... No other fantasy action rpg can compare with it. Highly recommend to anyone!

Dobry darmowy fps, najbardziej mechaniką przypominający Team Fortress 2 w połączeniu z Rainbow Six Siege. Polecam!
