they just sent a cease and desist to the devs behind the h2m mod for mw remastered, right after having the game on sale (when many people bought it just to play h2m)

forced taa.
ai voice acting.
battlepasses and daily challenges.
why the ♥♥♥♥ should i bother, the gameplay didn't feel all that special

they removed arenas :< just as i was actually getting into the game

I don't get why people hate on this game. It's an improvement on Far Cry 4.
Yeah it shares the same formula and yeah it has microtransactions... but i personally dont mind the same formula and i never found myself being in a situation where I would have been like "dang i wish i had this premium currency, oh boy".
btw, no content is locked behind said microtransactions, you can easily buy them ingame currency which you can get ez af late game.

so they just released the road rage mode from burnout and a battlepass
and with the battlepass they decided to remove the ability to do contracts (basically daily missions that give you 1500, 2500 or 5000 crew credits) with once-in-two-months 20k cc through progressing the battlepass if you didnt buy the 80k cc "premium" pass

there's still some fun to be had in this game, but it's pretty grindy and i wouldn't support ubisoft's decisions anymore

late 2022 update:
they're now selling the motorpass for 3 million igc (a welcome change) but they got a couple starter packs as dlc on storepages now with cars you can't get at all ingame. i'm very disappointed, ubi

2024 update:
they have delisted The Crew (2014) and shut the servers down, making the game unplayable. most likely this game will have the same treatment in 3 years time

Probably the sickest loading screen and character customization.
Everything else is like ehh

If you like cars or a post-apocalyptic setting or you're like me and like both of em get this game. Took me about 52 hours to finish most of the game (storyline and most of sidemissions etc)
oh and there's still denuvo which blocks mods and ♥♥♥♥ like that, it's already cracked so why is it still here?
