Think of it like hide and seek, with death and knives!

And chainsaws.

Possibly a harpoon gun too.

IT'S PORTAL.

I really can't tell you more than that, this game is a legend. Now go out there and find your portal cake.

Only buy this game for PC if you KNOW FOR SURE that your computer has a very strong video card and cpu, or else you'll be stuck on the lowest quality trying to play this game, which makes everything look truly terrible. For some reason, Bioshock 2 takes up a ridiculous amount of graphics power, and is known for its occasional crashes because of this; for example, my computer can handle Bioshock 1 and even Bioshock Infinite on medium graphics, but for some reason can’t even handle Bioshock 2 on the lowest graphics settings (always crashes a little after I get the Rivet Gun).

HOWEVER, if you’re confident in your computer power, DEFINITELY play this game if you haven’t already. I finished playing it a few days ago, and it’s truly a beautiful masterpiece. The animations are fluid, the environment is eerie and vast, the music fits perfectly with the story, the storyline is… it’s outstanding! From what I looked up there are several multiple endings as well, so be sure to think about your actions as you go. And you play as a big daddy for heaven’s sake, who doesn’t love that?!

My god where do I even start... EVERYONE on steam has heard of Team Fortress 2 at least once, and if they haven't they soon will. Highly addicting and loaded with tons of cartoonish fun and humor (and all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hats), TF2 is pretty much the face of steam (technically of Valve, but they're both made by them). The game itself is actually pretty challenging and is constantly changing. It's NOTHING like Call of Duty, where you can rely on just yourself to survive. In TF2, you actually have to work as a team to get anywhere, which I personally find great for a game. And every one of the 9 classes are unique, powerful, but still dependent on other classes. For example, you can't count on a whole team being snipers and expect to win (trust me, you won’t. Ever.) You need variety and strategy. You need to work as a team in the fortress. 2.
This game is free, but that doesn't say much. If you want to trade items (which are actually a huge part of TF2 thanks to hatcomony) then you either need to buy an item from the online store (lowest cost for an item is about 50 cents) or get a friend to get you premium. Now go out there and get on the point. Dummkopf.

One of the best games I've ever played. This game is truly a classic, and even if people don't have it, they know its name or have seen it referenced in other games (Dota 2, Dust: An Elysian Tale, hell there’s even references with Portal 2). With a very strong and long lasting storyline, and a narrator that could easily match Morgan Freeman; Bastion is about the lone journey of a kid though his destroyed world. There's a decent variety of weapons and special items and effects, and an unending amount of amazing art and animation. AND THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AMAZING MUSIC!
This game is most of the time on sale during major sales for 50-75% off, making it about $7-4 about. I got this from a friend who didn't want it because he had it already, and I instantly loved it. This game and its story is definitely one to remember.

Being a fur, of course this game caught my eye. But I really didn't realize how well this game and storyline would be. All of Dust: An Elysian Tail has been drawn and put together by one person (minus voice actors, music, misc. little things) and he truly deserves so much for making this game. The art is beautiful, the storyline goes anywhere from epic to hilarious to sad as hell (not lying, did almost cry a little at the end) and the game itself runs so smoothly! It's hard to believe that all this was constructed by one person.
This game has also been in major steam sales (and recently its dropped down to 75% off when on sale, making it about $4). For anyone who really wants to experience a beautifully made game, Dust: An Elysian Tale is one of your best choices.

Also this is to the maker of Dust: PLEASE MAKE A SEQUAL!!!

Even though I'm not the biggest fan of the whole Western cowboy theme that keeps popping up every now and then, this game really managed to go above its predecessor Fallout 3. Don't get me wrong, I love Fallout 3 as well, but Fallout New Vegas takes everything from Fallout 3 and makes it several times better. From having the hardcore mode; which makes it necessary for you to constantly sleep, eat, and drink to stay alive, to all the new amount of weapons and armor and best of all; weapon mods.

EDIT: HOWEVER, after playing the game to the near end (completed several tasks in New Vegas and some of the DLCs), I found this game to be veeery buggy. Not buggy as in the game crashes or there are several glitches, buggy as in the quests and tasks seem... unfinished and unconnected. For example, there's a mini quest you have to take to get something called a Pimp Boy 3 Billion, a gold reskin for your pip boy that looks fantastic. However, I got locked out of getting that item because I completed the quest... wrong? I didn't kill anyone who was supposed to give me the item or anything like that, the game was designed to have the character needed to trigger the mini quest completion vanish once the main quest was done.
Also, several of the quest story lines make you take weird alternates, with no choices for other options. For example, if you're trying for the Mr. House story ending, there's a quest part where you have to destroy the Brotherhood of Steel base and kill everyone inside to proceed. I did a little research and found that the game designers originally had an option where you could talk House out of it if your speech was high enough, but for some reason they took that out for the final game, leaving you to make your morality drop like a stone if you want to keep going with the House ending

When Fallout New Vegas goes on sale, it's at a pretty good price (75% off for the full game and DLCs at about $7 I think). However, this game probably wont be something you'll go back and play again, unless you want to try modding the ♥♥♥♥ out of it to fix all the kinks.
