Best played slow and steady as it is a somewhat shorter game if you just speed through. So much fun though, so few of this game type around

So easy to sink hours into this game when achievement grinding and trying to complete all the challenges for each character. For sure worth it to get the whole Afterbirth+ game because it makes it way easier to get some game breaking won-runs and with the extra items it just makes the game more interesting.

My favorite bit about BoI is that you really don't have to focus super hard on it unless you are seriously trying to grind out achievements. I usually play one run right after my tough lectures / big exams to unwind and give myself a small break before getting back into schoolwork. Absolutely deserves the overwhelmingly positive reviews and I can't wait to see what else they add to this game because they sure as ♥♥♥♥ will be stealing all my money

So easy to get sucked into it and keep playing for hours on end! Takes a bit of time figuring out what everything does but honestly it's not that hard

Played it since 2009 at least and have always loved it. So easy to sink massive amounts of hours into the game without even realizing it. Since it is older, of course it is buggy but as long as you save often you are golden. Save often. Often. A lot. Hard mode is actually a challenge as well, unlike many games recently (for me at least). Best game to play if you are needing to de-stress, especially since you can sit in the creature creator for hours on end making super detailed creatures, or just throw a bunch of cute ones together. 10/10, would be 11/10 if it wasn't for the crashes.
