This is a review for the Campaign, I bought it only for that. Taking away how the enemy behaves the same in every COD and some mechanics haven't changed in every title, the story was very compelling, with incredible characters (except the bad guy), in some way their lives matter and, it made me think that the words "Call of Duty" were captured in the plot in the best way. A labor of love I'd say, Incredible to think that IW took the risk to make a story related to space and made it better than some other more stablished franchises. Loved the graphics.

For my experience, the story is a combination of a COD game with Killzone and Titanfall 2. I'd say that there was more to be seen and the campaign lenght wasn't enough to display all the mechanics they made for this title. Didn't like too much some sounds of some weapons, the score doesn't feel memorable at all. Another issue I think is that the story had too many high notes (in terms of storytelling) that, maybe, ended being more meaningful that the very ending.

I recommend this game only if you are going to get it on sale. I think it has some issues with the MP, but I didn't even tested so you better check other reviews for that part.

It's unsettling, arcade, cozy, terrifying, lovely, mysterious, with gore, very creative and with an incredible Waifu. AAA developers should learn about these kind of games. Reminded me (somewhat) to Signalis and Portal 2. Worth every penny... What a game!

Dissclaimer: I'm not fully aware if some people thought that this game was going to be a third person shooter, but isn't. This is like a 3D visual novel with some grade of interactions. Having that in mind let's continue.

Despite having a very interesting universe which depicts space mining and terraforming, Fort Solis doesn't yap about it and stay focused in the story of our main characters, which is Jack Oleary and Jessica Appleton. This is about normal workers responding to a distress signal and how they act after that. That's where the tension starts to rise to a certain point, but still jokes about it's own premise cuz both protagonist are cinephiles and are very aware that all seems like a "serial-killer" movie. Most of the game is based on the "Show, don't tell" storytelling and that is, at least for me, one of the downsides. To be short, I loved the game despite some of its issues and I definitely recommend it. Easy achievements by the way.

CONS:

- I think the game could be better optimized, in terms of graphics, having in mind the low level of interactions you have.
- The characters at least should jog instead of only walking, it's kinda annoying that even in later stages of the game, they're walking like everything is chill.
- Not a spoiler, but some of the characters motivations weren't very clear, so the story didn't end up delivering that blow or punch as it should have and, If there is something to blame, I think is how the story was told.
- And last but not least, the QTE's doesn't respond properly in all interactions and most of the times, there is not consequences for failing.

I think that, in some moments in the game, you praise how good it looks, the incredible gameplay, the maps, the cute animals, how solid are the animations, among other features, but most of the times you will be having a bad time cuz the learning curve is something else and this game is physics at 100%, so you better be good at it.

My take with the skins topic: most of them can be purchased with in-game currency, so the paid ones with real money are very scarse. I don't mind at all any of the microtransactions in this game, it's only cosmetics and most of them, as I said, can be purchased with the cookies which is the normal currency. Nice game to play with your friends (if you have) and, also, you can invite at least one of them with the Friend's Pass (with a lot of limitations but it's FTP).

I really liked this one, very forgiving in the match 3 section, heroines are beautiful and pretty well made (even how they develop their personalities and the 3D models). Animations were pretty good, especially when they attack you with some special moves. Maybe the H-scenes, in general, could have been more developed, but they were nice. What I didn't like was the music during battle, and isn't like it wasn't well played or something like that, but because it never suited the tone for the situation, which is totally opposite to the music in the H-scenes and dialogues, where I think matches in a decent way to the situation.

Early Access Review
This is a review of the Early Access Stage of the game. SELACO feels a little bit overwhelming for their map design and how you have to progress in the game, but in time, you learn how to deal with it. Looks incredible, it's a game made with an insame amount of love, gameplay is fun and challenging. It will be, for what it looks like rn, one of the best retro FPS of all time.

The gray-blueish tone of the game, I think IMO, it's the biggest downside and not because it's bad, but maybe some people may become bored by the atmosphere (in any case I know that is an artistic decision made by the devs the same way like the CULTIC devs did). Another part that not everyone may like, is how larger is the campaign. In this version, there is only 1 chapter and think that it will be like 3 in the 1.0, but that Chapter 1... it was like 28 or 29 levels, I mean I loved it but I think it was kinda overwhelming. The other thing that I didn't enjoy that much is that the secrets aren't always like extra ammo, but rare or very unique mods that if you miss them, it could change your game experience... and some secrets are insane to find (thankfully there is always a community that help you with some guides).

I wonder how will be the final product, in any case, they are cooking something amazing and I hope only the best for SELACO.

The hunter looks pretty solid, very detailed clothes. I'm not really a fan of The Ghost Face, but the DLC is good. The weapon skins are 10/10.

It's kinda hard to recommend this game, but here is why:

Some design elements related to combat, like the stealth mechanic being almost non-existent cuz most maps don't provide you with enough cover or maybe your marines are too careless to get into some areas without been seen; the aliens that are lurking in every compound sometimes get in places where they never leave so you must kill them if you want to progress, which alerts the hive, and that's always very anticlimatic (sometimes you can prevent it by using a sniper); in some levels, you must have a tool to progress, if not you have to extract; there are other problems but that's more or less the big issues for me.

There are lots of details that makes the gameplay very frustrating that could have been better. It's like the game itself try its best to make you feel annoyed and to kill you at the same time. Now, talking about the good stuff, it looks gorgeous, it's very strategic, the plot is amazing, the way they depicted the Alien's universe is stunning, it's very fun too, the menu at the Otago it's very intuitive and useful, I mean, after playing it I came to this conclusion: if you are fan of the first movie, go and play Alien Isolation, but if you are fan of the second movie, this is your game. It's a love letter to the fans if you ask to me.

I almost stopped playing it, but I ended loving it. Nice game.

I really liked this game. Beautiful aesthetics, nice gameplay, good visuals and very straightforward plot, especially if you are in those days that you just want to disconnect your brain and play. One thing is that Ruiner is not that easy to play, but isn't that hard either, and isn't that long enough to build frustration. Easy to recommend.

The hunter and the Scottfield skin are very lovely, but the rest is not of my taste. Though I haven't seen many players using this hunter in a long time. In any case, good stuff.
