I'm addicted. Best game I've played in years.

Grindy, and I'd never want to play solo.... but I am addicted. The core loop is fun, and has some unique challenges. I've been playing the full loot PVP, and it suffers from the usual problems full loot pvp has.

Overall its good fun, and if you have 2-3 friends wanting to degen it - you'll enjoy it.

I honestly thought this was going to be mediocre, but damn its actually really engaging gameplay which feels fun and smooth. Small issues with design around progression, it being obviously attempting to be Metroidy to an over-the-top extent - but few things are as enjoyable as killing stormtroopers with their own shots.

The 'story' might be great, I dunno I didn't pay attention - because I was having too much fun creating my own stories, and becoming involved in the successes and failures of my own team of orc captains.

Early on I got betrayed by a Olog-Hai captain of mine, and I made it my goal to humiliate that jerk all the way back to level 1 before I killed him.

I was so bored for 30 minutes. Then realised I could play this while watching The Wire... and now have loads of hours in, and get to watch The Wire as well. 10/10

The best installment of the series, with complex mechanics that have been initially misunderstood by many. Give this another go if you only played it at launch.
