I actually read it and I'll state the rather obvious fact that your take was mild and generally well worded. Your lamentation is also, generally speaking in line with my own thinking (Which helps, but is ultimately irrelevant).
I guess I felt that I will at least let you know that the moronic stuff people have knee-jerk replied to are mostly unwarranted. Chin up. It is the internet, sure, but there ARE some sane and reasonable people out there.
