PvE objective based horde shooter. Pretty different from the first game, but not in a bad way. MTX currency can be earned in-game so no swiping required. It's a good game, but I recommend you play with a group of friends.

Heretic's fork drew me in immediately with it's style. The gameplay is fun and good for short sessions (or long obsessive sessions of just trying over and over to get that one challenge completed), but at the same time I can't work out the balancing. Some runs I feel like I breeze through without paying much attention and others I feel like even though I keep getting amazing cards I just can't keep up ~4 layers in.

Overall, good fun, great music. It's worth $15 for sure

Halo Infinite feels like you're playing the Halo 3 MP disc that came with ODST. It's super fun, especially with friends.

However, the progression on the battlepass is tediously slow due to challenges being the main method of gaining xp, and features way too many padding items. The customisation is also poorly designed, with armour pieces and colour coatings locked to specific armour cores (even if both cores have the same piece/colour, they're separate items that you need to buy/unlock separately). Skins from the in-game shop also only apply to specific armour cores/pieces.

I do recommend this game.. but it comes with the caveat of "if you don't interact with the progression/customisation system at all", and to not spend any money on in-game MTX.

Early Access Review
Hardspace: Shipbreaker is a very enjoyable experience involving the methodical deconstruction of a spaceship, the parts of which you then salvage for credits. Those credits are used to pay back your debt to a futuristic megacorporation.

Pros:
Relaxing atmosphere
It's satisfying when you really efficiently breakdown a ship
Game modes to remove timer/oxygen meter for those who just want to chill
Game modes to reduce or remove extra lives for those seeking more challenge

Cons:
No multiplayer/coop
