The game is very good, despite frankly an insane way of selling it. The real problem is them locking stuff 2 previous games as DLCs for the 3rd one, even if you already own everything. Like come on, if the scammers making Warhammer Total War managed to figure out how to do it, then IOI definitely could. They choose not to do it in a decent manner and decided to be complete scumbags.

If you're on the fence, just get the base game at a discount. It'll give you access to most of the good stuff. Deluxe edition unlocks extra content from Hitman 2 and 3, most of which isn't worth dealing with the predatory selling tactic. New York bank is ok - it's a good map for Freelancer but the mission itself is underwhelming and Haven Island isn't that good of a map coupled with quite boring targets. You'll also be locked out of Special assignments for Hitman 2, which are glorified elusive targets and aren't very good, despite being a definite step up from a disgrace that was Sarajevo Six. As for 7 deadly sins, I don't see a reason to play them over the main missions unless you want costumes and equipment.

So, unless you really want access to New York and Haven Island, there's no point in getting the Deluxe edition and the money is better spent on The Disruptor set to get the fur coat. Now that thing actually increases the quality of the game, which is rare for IOI's DLCs.

This game makes you miserable unless you take time and actually learn what to do - that's a neat change for a Doom game of all things. Some thing do feel forced tho, like the boss fights make me feel mentally ill, but there's only 3 or 4 in total so not a big deal. Also, one of them is kinda cool so I guess it's not actually that bad. If anything, they really need to drop the underdeveloped stupid season pass system (even though those are free) and barely functioning multiplayer and just release Master levels for everything. Master levels are the ♥♥♥♥, yeah.

The DLC is also really decent (albeit short, for now). Three extra levels, but it kicks your ass harder than the rest of the game combined, so it's cool.

Don't buy it. It's one of those that steals your soul and then you wake up sore and with no recollection of the last 60 hours of your life. 10/10 btw.

People like calling games like this "hard". In reality, it's extremely straightforward, the only really hard part is minmaxing every output (which is not necessary, if you're not into that). The main gameplay is getting a bunch of assembly machines and connecting them to conveyor belts with necessary materials. The rest is just doing more assembly machines and then changing belts to either faster ones or straight up flying robots. How hard can that be?
What really matters is that you can be slapping a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ and matter together for a few hours and then feel productive.
Also, the UI is extremely clear. As a person who plays a lot of Dwarf Fortress and the likes of Europa Universalis 4 (games with UIs so atrocious and misleading they add new levels of complexity) I applaud games where all the buttons work correctly, the graphs are not total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and modifiers never lie to you.

And then you discover mods, the majority of which actually make the process of expanding while minmaxing even easier. But at that point you're gonna have to learn new interfaces and mechanics which is either the most fun or the stupidest thing ever, depending on your perspective. On top of that some of the full overhauls are not only fun, but numerous.

It's a game with unprecedented "suffering to satisfaction" ratio. The quality of sprites and animations in particular makes it extremely enjoyable to suffer through hours of building and rebuilding even the smallest parts of your factory. Like sections that make something as trivial as cogs or copper wires. In the end you end up with either an OCD dream machine that produces the exact needed amount of iron plates per second; or a beautiful sprawling, living pattern which reminds me of H.R. Giger for some reason (and also produces close to the necessary amount of iron plates per second). What I mean is: the result depends on how you look at it, but either way has a high chance of being great.

It's a good game with gorgeous sprites and enjoyable gameplay which pays off in a way that makes you feel like you aren't spending your entire life doing nothing. But it also cuts through your time like butter, so be advised.

The real Hunt is for the server and not the monsters. Sadly, we couldn't find it, so no games for us.
Gotta say, getting constant error messages and disconnects is still enjoyable with your friends and family around.
Had a blast, 10/10.
