This is so much fun, i love games where you upgrade yourself to go further, like vampire survivors, rogue genesia and such.
But this is just soooooo chill, i played through it twice!

Early Access Review
This game is very obviously in Early Access, there is TONS of QoL to be done and so much more content to put in it, it can go deep (pun intended).
You need to be able to see something behind walls, as an outline or something. I would love a kind of insurance for like copper gear so newer players can pay to not lose the earliest progression, but after that make you loose it all.
Better lightsources and not just glow potion, like helmets with lower armor but you can put a torch in it that lasts for x ammount of time.
Bigger stacks, more options for the material you can find atm in the game, it is to "narrow" with the items you can make.
Being able to throw torches before you can get a better lightsource so you can get light on an area you want to walk towards and then being able to pick it up again.
Maybe add a very expensive radar that can help you find ores either when you go down or chose a specific ore you want to find but having it be left in the bank.
Make items be able to be upgraded to have an ability to them, boots a dash, armor that makes it so you do not get knocked back, helmet being able to have a torch in it, gloves making you attack faster or harder, axe with longer range or an aoe spin, swords with a slighty longer stab, ranged weapons an attack that does extra damage but is slower and all of this with a cooldown.

All of these things are just on top of my head that can enhance the game.
I probably have a lot more ideas to help it get smoother and more content to make it fun to do runs even if you accidently die.

As it is i can say it has flaws and quite a few of them but the base for a really fun game is there, i do say wait for more content and QoL fixes before you get it, but if it gets done you should take a look at the game again!

I cannot believe that EA (no matter the involvement) have made one of the better if not the best remastered i have yet to see. Really good job!

I have played most of the known Arpg's out there (and some unknown).
This game is the most versatile of them all, PoE comes a bit close to it, but GD has everything working for it; Constelations, many work in many builds, legendary items are not always best in slot and the amount of different builds you can play is astounding. For every 2 classes there are often 2+ viable builds.
Then there is Crate themselves who keep adding what the community wants and what they themselves want to see in the game, they put into the game in a balanced matter. The time between bigger updates are close enough to keep most of the people intrested, the amount of content in each big update beats alot of games.
I need to reitterate that the devs are exactly what games need nowadays, Grim Dawn has seen so much love that i CAN'T let the game go.

So basicly if you like Arpg's you need to try Grim Dawn, but do be careful, you might just get stuck in it!
