Feels like much more of a well rounded and fleshed out game than the original SUPERHOT. It's much meatier than I expected from having played the early access version a long while back. It manages to be the sequel I'd always wanted to the original.

Note that unlike the (admittedly excellent) SUPERHOT VR, which relatively speaking stands alone, this game really does feel like a sequel; even if the "plot" is even more coy and meta than SUPERHOT, lots of its strength lies in doing fun twists on what the original game had.

It's Hitman 2016 with even better levels, so it's more fun to get into the loop of trying that level again to see what else you can do.

Including the entire previous game as DLC for people who already owned it is a _super_nice touch I didn't expect at all.

it's Assassin's Creed meets Saints Row

It's a tribute to System Shock/Deus Ex of olde that actually manages to be BETTER than the games it's paying tribute to. That's as an incredible an achievement as it sounds like.

First the negatives: The campaign is pitifully short and some of the secrets are more annoying than fun to hunt.

The positives: The gameplay fundamentals here are incredibly unique and incredibly solid. The extra modes offer hours and hours of arcadey challenges and are the real meat of the game. If you enjoy trying to beat your best score, you're in for a treat.

Well deserving of a sequel.

Probably the single hugest example of a discrepency between how drab a game looks in its marketing material and how kinetic and fun it is to actually play.

Gets noticably meatier and more fun a little ways into the campaign. The first few levels are relatively restrictive.

Holy moly at some of the insanely obscure stuff you can accomplish in this game. I'm frankly amazed how many hours it's sucked away from me.
