good game but very poorly optimized

Probably one of my most treasured video games.

I come back to this game every time I just get sick of anything else. I binge for 6 hours straight and have not a moment of dissatisfaction. The game is almost therapeutic

Honestly the game is pretty bad.
I watched some youtube videos and the game doesnt feel anything like any lets play.
First off every island is picked clean of ore. You need ore to do everything.
There was not a SINGLE PIECE OF ORE on the surface of my starting island.
I had to try and climb the sides or hang from underneath the floating island to find any ore.
As a new player thats ridiculous because:
A) How should I know that?
B) If I zap the ore node upside down how the ♥♥♥♥ am I supposed to catch the actual ore as it falls into nothingness?

They don't teach you anything and zapping around with your grappling hook gets you killed just about instantly all the time.

The makers of the game have added a feature where anyone in your game can report anyone for toxic behavior.
After FIVE reports you are banned for 27 minutes. After two more you are permanently banned from playing the game.

Ubisoft has given the trolls of Rainbow Six the power to ban anyone indiscriminately for any reason. They are deciding to make a Mature rated game feel like toontown online but with a russian roulette ban hammer.

I will not play this game until it is safe to log on - I have put in money into year passes and I have been banned for 27 minutes for NO REASON. I never posted anything racist or wrong whatsoever. People RANDOMLY reported me until I hit 5.

I cannot support a game that is run by literal morons allowing their player base to get banned left and right
