Gameplay can be fun, but you're lying to yourself if you think you can just play tanks.
Tank games allow planes to carpet bomb tanks that cannot defend against themselves. Planes can spawn camp your team and you can't do almost anything about it.
People who die in their tank can spawn in as a plane and revenge kill you in your defenseless tank.
AA exists but has to be chosen by players and ready to shoot to be of any value. Some tanks have MGs that can attempt to shoot at planes, but it's hard to track and hit as there is no reticle.

Aside from that the gameplay is fun - but incredibly P2W.

literally every server in the game lists as full
maybe 2/500 have half player count

everyone else is talking about bugs or whatever but i cant comment on that until i can find a game that has actual players in it

I'm happy to announce that my personal data is no longer at risk thanks to Sony's terrible decisions and security.

The game was always fantastic but my personal data is more valuable than playing any video game.

The game basically sucks. It's just not fun at all, especially after maybe 10 hours.
The amount of loading screens is genuinely unbearable and the content is just uninspiring.
You feel so little for your character or the world that it really cannot be considered an RPG at this point.

Here's the thing. There's quite a few interesting concepts in here, some of which have been tried in other dead mmos, but none of them work well together. Not only that - you don't really feel like there's a reason for why you do literally anything.
The "Dialogue" of this game is basically mute and there's absolutely no investment you can get behind.

There's about 4ish quest types in the entire game and that includes factions. More MMORPGS have released with quest and dungeon variation on launch and still died within a year than New World. It's really barren. You can run from corner to corner of the map in about 20 minutes at best. So imagine spending 100 hours not invested in anything (not your faction, not the cities because they change ownership near daily, not your character because you can respec anytime and there arent any classes, nothing) in pretty much the same 6 places.

In the first 25 hours I have only really been to the same 10 little micro towns. Level 29 with only 25 hours and the second I get a quest I'll have already been to that town probably 45 times and can tell you exactly what crate order I'm going to run to loot the box items.

The game is boring as ♥♥♥♥. Genuinely. I've played most of the MMORPGs/MMOs that have launched in the past 15ish years and this one has probably the least amount of content or reason for you to stay.

They didn't implement an anti cheat. It's a game where you have to beat 59 people to get to the end of a course yet they didnt have any anti speed hack technology. So 30 people per game instantly get to the end or FLY to it.
The team games basically RNG your chance of winning. You can be the fastest, know the maps the best, etc, and there's like a 50/50 chance you will just fail out of the "contests" or whatever because your team couldnt make it happen.

The game is pretty fun at this point and runs well. The rest is less correct, but still a factor.

They put out updates that break the game regularly.
Right now if you have a $1500 PC you get roughly 5-25 FPS.

There's no bullet penetration, two snipers per team (2 out of 50 people on a allies or axis within a server), tanks are very unbalanced against each other and arent historically accurate in armor or ballistics, no incentive for people to Squad Lead or be Commander, not a lot of customization AND it takes FOREVER to level. Lots of glitches and bugs, MGs have issues bipoding, bad netcode, racism, hacking, etc.

Nearly silent developers. This game compared to Post Scriptum is a messy, but graphically appealing, cod style casual arcade game.

I've played this game every free weekend available.
This is a fun, solid, and repeatable game.

I genuinely enjoy every moment of it. I cant wait until I can afford to pick this game up.
After two years the devs haven't given up on this game. They've consistently changed, listened, and added based on the community feedback.

Game is fun but it's not really well populated except on a friday night. Can't really find any servers playing any of the specialty modes.

These guys just never marketed at all and invested all eggs into the town of salem 2 game that totally flopped. There's far more people (which is next to none) playing this original ToS than the 2nd one.

CSGO High Elo used to be 1/100 obvious cheater
10/100 with a possible cheater

CS2 High Elo is 60/100 obvious cheater (spinbotting with a lot of hours played)
85/100 with a possible cheater

There's no reason to play anymore.
