Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was released in the Fall of 2007, and in 2021 the community remains active. Although downgrading to 1.7 in order to avoid bugs as well as to download the community server browser is easy, I'll mention here on how to do it in less than a minute. So, when going to the server browser you will see a bunch of servers that are "downgrade" in nature. These servers will automatically patch your game in order to access the actual server list in which people are playing through. It's quite easy and rather simple, but if you don't have much experience it can be a little overwhelming at first (which is totally normal). If you personally need any help associated with this game, please feel free to add me and ask me any questions you may have in relation to CoD4 and its community / patches. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys First-Person Shooters!

Game remains active and holds well for its age.
Modern Warfare 2 was released in the Fall of 2009, as of the Winter of 2019 the game looks beautiful and runs like butter.
Pros: Games are found rather fast, good connection and solid hit detection.
Plenty of guns and attachment options.
Great skins, no micro-transactions.
External FOV changer won't get you VAC banned.
External unlock all program won't get you VAC banned.
Active community.
Cons: Occasional hackers.
Noob toobs.
Ranking up takes a long, long time.
No dedicated servers on steam.
Conclusion: 7.5/10, not worth more than $19.99

This game is a classic.
