SteamWorld Build offers a casual and straightforward gaming experience, ideal for players seeking a light strategy game. While the gameplay is enjoyable, it lacks depth, with maps and undergrounds feeling too similar despite varied visuals. The progression system, where completing levels unlocks bonuses for subsequent levels, adds a sense of achievement. However, the game's replay value is limited; after about 30 hours to complete all levels, there's little incentive to return. Priced at 30 euros, it might seem steep for the short gameplay it offers. Overall, it's a decent pick for a few hours of basic, casual fun, but it might not satisfy those looking for a more engaging or replayable strategy game.

Bandai Namco's new theme park simulator feels like a baby from the classic Themepark Inc. and Planet Coaster. Great graphics, a lot of fun elements, the building feels very smooth and man those impossifications are quite an amazing show to see!

The price is a bit on the high end if you ask me especially if you consider the total content available, I would have expected it to have a bit more from the start or a lower base price considering there will be many DLCs coming.

Another great thing is that there will be modding support trough mod.io in the near future. In total I can recommend the game as it will give you plenty of hours of fun especially with modding and future dlcs!

I am loving this game! An absolute blast, been sailing on expeditions for hours, met some nasty Cyclopses and a lot more... got a nice base up in a lagoon.. building ships and having fun with friends...

After a rocky launch the devs have spend a lot of time and effort into fixing issues players were experiencing... not sure what people are still complaining about.. it is after all an early access title and every big game has launch issues these days...

If you love survival games, big open worlds and building/crafting.. but you were not really into dino's like on ARK this will totally be your game! For an early access title your getting a lot of value!

Amazing game, but as others mentioned, shallow missions, shoot this, scan this and shoot that and that is basicly it. No decent short movies, hails etc. it's very basic. That said it has a lot of potential still if they would open up a editor/workshop where people would be able contribute to the community. The way it is now and with the lack on updates it will die off eventually. Buy if your a fan and want to experience how it is to sit on the bridge, it is a very good experience. If you want a lot of gameplay/action and are not a fan, just skip this one untill they make it more interesting.
