It's a great game. If you like roguelites, Returnal has quite a lot of roguelite features, but in general you don't restart from the beginning in every run, there are significant number of elements that maintain your progression to continue the narrative and the levels.

This makes it a bit more lenient in the progression to reach the end of the game.

The gameplay is very crisp and the controls are great as well. Unfortunately the game isn't very well optimized on PC, but if you have a modern computer you should be able to run it decently well (Steam Deck runs it pretty poorly, for example)

All in all, definitely recommended

Very fun to play with friends, quite engaging to keep coming back, there is a lot of teamwork possible which gives this game a big longevity with the different heroes

It is quite a hard game, and sometimes you might feel frustrated, but you can always figure out what you did wrong, and with every fight, it's a learning process, meaning every run is better than the last.

Also the game has checkpoints (called bonfires) in which the game state resets, replenishing your healing potions (Estus Flasks) which allows you to always try finding the best route or strategy for an enemy or boss

One of the best competitive games ever, very teamplay oriented, have played it since 2003. recommended

Great game, really fast paced and fun overall.

It's a bit hard to coordinate all your mechanics at start but you will improve. Seems like an ideal game for speedrunning.

I liked I wanna be the boshy, Super Meat Boy, etc, where you need to memorize stuff and be very coordinated, and this ticks the same boxes in this regard
