imo the best combat balancing and gameplay that owlcat has done yet, easily. all encounters are turn-based without invoking the tedium that playing previous games in turn-based mode did. art direction is stellar, music is fantastic, and the new systems are incredibly fun to explore and exploit.

Tactical strategy gameplay is pretty fun, deep with tons of stat ♥♥♥♥ that I haven't even started to delve into. Unfortunately the campaigns themselves are EXCRUCIATINGLY easy, no matter the difficulty. I just get bored, honestly. It's always a steamroll, never a challenge, even with incredibly limited understanding of traits and race-building.

i genuinely do not understand the negative reviews about price. faction is insanely unique, feels like I'm playing a completely different game. far more worth it than previous race packs imo
