I started playing this game on June 25, 2012, my ex-wife's birthday, which is how I remember the exact date. Anyway. This is a great game. Great stories for every class with multiple choices to sway the story 1 way or the another. It is Pay To Win but Free To Play isn't to bad. 3 levels of account status: Free To Play, Preferred, and Subscriber. Preferred status is pretty much a F2P upgrade and gained by using cartel coins or letting your subscription run out. Light Side, Dark Side, Republic, Sith Empire, they dictate your conversations in game. Tons of things to do in the game. Pretty good crafting system. Galactic Trade Network (GTN) is an in game store where every item listed has been placed there by the players. I highly recommend this game and becoming a subscriber which costs $15/month which averages out to $.50/day and is very worth it. If you're as big of a Star Wars fan as I am, then this game is for you. There is a lot of endgame and side missions. Customizable hideouts. I love this game. So, with that said, I'm gonna go play now. I hope this will help in your decision to get the game. CHEERS!!

I've loved this game since it's original release. Everyone should play this version, not the remake. I played the remake. *puke* It was short and disappointing. This is the best version.

Alright, what I really came to post:
I bought this PC version of the game over a decade ago, straight from Square Enix. Long live the Square Enix cloud! I was able to pick up right where I left off. Of course I'm going to start over. It's the right thing to do.

Last thing:
My PC doesn't like to run programs unless I have some kind of speakers attached. This game is no exception. I don't have speakers so I put a jack into headphone slot and viola, running fine. Just the jack is needed, not the headphones, at least that's how my PC does it. So, if your PC steam games keep crashing, give it a shot. it might help. That was the very last thing I tried. If it didn't work, I was gonna get a refund. YAY FOR ME!

This is a great Diablo style game. Free to play. All purchases are cosmetic only, meaning it's not pay to win. You have to get good. New leagues every few months which have a different main mechanic. Everyone starts a new league with nothing, which balances out the trade economy. A sophisticated monetary system that's pretty easy to learn. Overall, this is just a great hack & slash rpg. Huge passive skill tree. Max level is 100. Good luck achieving it. It's not easy even when it's on standard difficulty. In hard mode, if you die, you get booted from it and placed in standard, so don't die. If you're into these kind of gory games then you will love this one.
