If you enjoy terrible server stability and wait times that are double the length of a match, this game is for you!

Game play is fun.

For context, I have never played L4D or L4D2.

Pros:
- Card/deck system for character builds, although not perfect, is a very fun way to have a flexible build which can deal with multiple situations (which depend on the corruption cards you get).
- It seems like the developers are transparent with what they are working on (via Trello) even if it's a bit vague sometimes.
- I feel adequately challenged by Nightmare but I mostly play with randoms and people I've met in game.
- The PvE gameplay loop is enjoyable because of the motivation to unlock skins and buy burn cards (killing zombies is fun too).
- The graphics are great, the characters add some variety and flavor in terms of personality and game mechanics.

Cons:
- PvP is in a bad place unless you play with a pre-made group and probably will not be re-worked anytime soon.
- The game does a terrible job of teaching you what attributes affect what. There are some pretty specific interactions between cards which require some research on forums (or in game) to figure out.
- Sometimes the servers get strained and you get some weird rubber-banding.
- You have to use third party sites to track any of your stats as well as your progress toward ZWAT skins. Since the December update, a game file was encrypted which locks out some of these third party sites from being able to analyze and display your stats/progress.
- The dialogue is terrible but this is kind of funny sometimes.

It's barely playable, optimization is awful. Star Citizen and New World are LESS of a buggy mess. Your AI team mates shoot and kill you for no reason after spending 30 minutes progressing through a level. This feels like another early release scam game. Do not spend a single dime on this game until it is full release.
