11/10 Starship Troopers experience, the run to the dropships at the end of a mission is something straight out of the movie.

The real shame is that there is a great game here. However with the current setup, if you don't get in to the server when server restarts happen, you won't get in. And if you're on the main continent, that means not getting play the $40 game you paid for. At all. Probably 20 of my 60 hours played is staring at the queue screen before I gave it up for the time being. Now that I'm in the queue for the main continent I literally cannot play the game.

They have recently put a functioning queue in place (a mind boggler why it wasn't something in the 1.0 release) but there's one problem with that: a queue does nothing when the people you're waiting for to leave do not leave. There is no mechanic currently that removes AFK players. People that get in stay in, making the queue system useless unless you have 8-12 hours to stare at your screen until that number reaches 0.

There is a good game here, it's just unplayable at the moment. If you do happen to pick it up, don't leave Haven until the population issues on the main continent are resolved.
