The AI is the deal breaker for this game. There's no pattern which you can understand what makes them angry at you for no reason, you'll get denounced for taking any direction in the game which makes avoiding military conflict impossible. I end up completing most games by conquest as it's always the most beneficial and efficient way to win. The AI also struggles to fight back even when they declare war on you, causing themselves to become stuck and unable to produce anything.

Was very excited for this game but there was a lot more depth and strategy to Civ 5 than this instalment.

As you can tell from its looks it is overwhelming with charm from it's gorgeous animation style and presentation. 1930's cartoon style animation and music in a video game format is something I've never seen done so well. But it's not all style, the gameplay is addicting and surprisingly challenging boss rush fun with an overworld map and "run and gun" typical platformer type levels to slow the pace down between bosses. The bosses are all creatively unique with their style and trope inspired from old cartoons and modern examples with their own unique look and mechanics that makes every fight different and challenging in it's own way. With only 3 lives by default and many different boss fight phases to go through it makes for hectic fights where every heart counts.

If you are not a fan of the boss rush style it feel a bit reptitive, especially if you die a lot, however every boss is different enough with some character customisation to abilities that can be used strategically for different bosses and levels that makes the gameplay feel rewarding.

You can feel the tireless effort that went into making this game and was made with the love and care for the type of game they wanted to make. With a lot of high budget games making video games feel cynical and shallow, it's indie games like these which show the creative boundaries that can be pushed.

Removed too many RPG elements from the previous games.

Best RPG to date, looks beautiful, all the quests feel unique like they are important and great story. Good level of customising your gear and character abilities without getting overly complicated. The world is huge but you always find something to explore soon that can side track you for hours. The Gwent mini-game is also addicting.

Don't buy the game. Wait until the newer version comes out that supports Directx 11 because the update for this version will not include it, because From software.

Boring and tedious.

Could waste time playing solitare or minesweeper and stil have more fun.

Awesome, must get, everything is great about it.

But FO:NV is still the peak of Fallout games
