there's a lot more mechanical depth in love 3's levels than the previous 2 games, while still playing just as smooth. not that you need to decide anyways since the levels from the previous 2 games are ALL INCLUDED, in addition to levels from an early 2008 version of LOVE. the 66 main levels of the entire LOVE trilogy can be played back to back in LOVE 3, and it's probably the ideal way to experience the series. also very fun to casually speedrun.

It made me angry at first because it looked like just a reissue with a miniscule amount of added content.
Then the narrator got angry for the same reason.

This game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rollercoaster. Go in blind, feel bored from the lackluster physics & gamefeel, keep playing anyways. It pays off.

I remember playing this when I was very young. Turns out it's not just nostalgia that keeps me going. Probably the best mid-2000s puzzle game I've ever played.

Very good precision platformer. It's short, but in my opinion the brevity doesn't really take anything away from the experience. It's very well-designed and replayable, so that certainly helps. The "Great Soundtrack" tag is there for a reason, too, and the music goes hand-in-hand with the gameplay and aesthetic (although the songs tend to be much longer than the areas they play in).

The main selling point is this: it's Edmund McMillen's Flash webgames, but offline. It comes with the SWFs, but you can probably find them somewhere without buying this collection, so that doesn't hold much water.

However, it does have some very nice bonus features, such as QA tracks for most of the games (including Meat Boy), assorted soundtracks for all of the games' music, and some glimpses into Ed's really early works that probably aren't publicly available otherwise. There's also a "Ch. 2" for Time ♥♥♥♥ which is a set of much harder levels, if you liked the puzzling aspect of Time ♥♥♥♥.

It's dirt cheap and gets even cheaper on sales. I grabbed it for one dollar, but even its base price of four dollars is a steal. Games, bonuses, and all, I'd say it's worth the purchase.

Top-down action-puzzle blend, like Chip's Challenge but with less cheap shots. This game markets itself as local co-op, but it is easily playable alone, although things are a bit slower if you can't control both players at once. Plot is sorta cheesy and literal, but that applies to the other "i saw her..." games as well, and it has charm of its own anyways. Overall, it's a good game, it has plenty of content, and it was worth the asking price.

The campaign is short, and custom levels tend not to be as finely made as the official levels, but it's good for what it's worth. The game is well-designed, has a good story, and mixes puzzle with action very well.

Fun little game. Surprisingly not shovelwarey considering its conditions (freeware, Steam, puzzle platformer... yeah.) Packs a good challenge and has some collectibles that unlock a few bonus levels - though I didn't find them any harder than the normal levels. Supports minimum-death challenges and speedrunning for the obsessive, and a full-fledged level editor + workshop.

This game definitely was worth the wait... but the levels in the game, not so much. The mechanics showcased in the game are plentiful and give you a lot of opportunities when it comes to level design, but the built-in levels suffer a major drop in quality past level 150. Play however many of the maingame levels you'd like, then download some additional levelsets from the workshop and/or CCZone[cczone.invisionzone.com], the largest-standing Chip's Challenge community there is left.

Also, you can get this game and the other Chip's Challenge-related content (Steam CC1 and the CC2 Editor DLC) for no increase in price if you purchase the Chip's Challenge 1 & 2 Bundle.
