Battle Royale with melee combat? Sign me in! Combat feels amazing, movement feels great, and it's extremely fun! Highly recommend it!

The Souls games titles are without a doubt a genre-defining series. Dark Souls 3 however, is my favourite out of all of them! The gameplay is extremely polished, fast-paced, and feels responsive to the slight touch. The lore and world building is just as good as ever! It is not thrown at your face like most other titles out there, and instead you have to pick up small things here and there, and put them all together, and it's so damn satisfying to put the puzzle pieces together. The creature designs are probably my favourite out of any game I've played so far. From small and weak mobs that are scattered throughout this visually impressive world, to the strong and scary bosses and their well built arenas, everything feels distinct, and the variety is big enough to keep you playing for 50+ hours without feeling like you're always seeing the same type of enemy. There are so many weapons, each one with their own moveset, that there is something for everyone, no matter the playstyle.
This series and this game specifically deserve all the praise it has received, give it a try!

Hands down the best co-op game I've ever played.

This game was one of the most hyped games, if not the most hyped game in gaming history so far. The reasons for the hype were there, the theme of the game is amazing and unique, CD PROJEKT RED had an amazing reputation with their past games, putting a lot of passion and dedication. HOWEVER, the game is not what was advertised, and it's for sure very overrated.
This is just my opinion, and of course, some people will agree, some other people with disagree, but just take in mind that I have a lot of experience when it comes to games.
Let's start with the beginning, the Character Creation. Before we get to customize our character, we are given the option to chose between three different life paths, which in theory sounds cool, but all it does is a different prologue and some different conversation options. This was advertised as a huge game mechanic, and as people explored more and more this said "mechanic", the more it's noticeable that this is just a minor thing that can affect some elements of the game. Once we get to actually customizing our character, we are not given many options, we can't choose body type, and each single category is just to choose from a selected preset of options, and they are not even that many.
The performance is terrible, even on high end machines, the game struggles to run at a decent frame rate. Don't get me wrong, the graphics are amazing, and the game is beautiful, from the art style and neons everywhere, to the giant buildings all around us, it is really immersive and one of the best looking open world games out there, however, optimization is nowhere to be seen. The game also plays terrible, physics suck, really, it even reminds me of the Bethesda games engine, feeling unresponsive, clunky and just not smooth to play overall. The enemies are literal bullet sponges, and don't even bother setting the difficulty to hard, as all it does is increase enemy's health (making it so that they need one whole mag or more to die), and also increase enemy's damage (making you die in two or three shots). The AI is horrible, from enemies getting stuck in place, to bad pathing, to spawning behind you when you are in a empty room or despawning in front of you. Sometimes the enemies miss all the shots, and hit the walls, and some other times they are literal gods with aimbot and don't miss a single shot, making it extremely inconsistent and even frustrating to play sometimes. The driving mechanics and vehicles physics don't feel right, it feels like playing a racing game from the 2000's, which is a shame, considering that all the vehicles look amazing and each single one of them looks unique and cool. The world itself looks very, very good, but it feels very empty, and the npc's are there just to fill space, they are not responsive to anything and often despawn right in front of you, and the activities to do are very underwhelming, compare this to Red Dead Redemption 2 for example, when all the npc's feel like a different person with their own lives and the world is filled with stuff to do and random events. The game is not a RPG with shooting mechanics, it honestly feels more like a evolved looter shooter, except its only single player. The game is not what is was advertised.
This is one of the worst AAA launch to date, filled with bugs, crashes and glitches, oh, and did I mention the bugs?
I feel bad for the game writer, voice actors and animators, they did an amazing work! The story is really compelling and keeps you hooked in, and the amazing performance by the cast of all the voice actors, in conjunction with the extremely well done animations, make it for a really good single player experience, that is, when the game is not crashing or filled with bugs everywhere.
Sadly tho, there are far too many problems right now for the experience to be enjoyable or immersive.
