Slow boring uncharted

Like world of warcraft but with a story that's actually good

Co-op games need online co-op.Steam Play Together was used but online co-op would be much better as an option for such a teamwork oriented game.
The checkpoint system is generous which makes the not-so-polished controls less frustrating.
There is no chapter select, so you must play through the slow intro to revisit any further part.


2.2% of players completed this game solo, and 8.4% completed co-op, that's about a 10% completion rate overall... and for a short 2 hour game that's not a lot of completions. I would assume a lot of players drop around the 75% mark where the cool tone of the entire game (minimalist temple relic style) is dropped completely for an eldrich body horror theme. If not then, then at the 90% mark where you main characters straight up just die and it becomes more of a pinball game? And halfway through that there is one longer stretch of much much harder enemies and survival that feels like a final boss fight excep there is about 5 minutes of really easy stuff after it....

I wouldn't want to have paid for this game, but as a free game goes its passable. The reason i'm not recommending it is that it it's a fun game in concept but it just feels clunky. The menus just feel unintuitve for a party game, the controls themselves feel obtuse, the hit boxes can be very forgiving and at the same time way too tight. Some of the maps feel like they end way too quickly, while others are much more difficult to complete. All in all it reeks of a lack of polish.

Fun puzzle game with a friend. Only about 4 hours long, so perfect for a night

Lego games aren't what they used to be. The addition of voice acting removes a lot of the charm these games had for me. The switch over to an open world based world from a central hub also takes away the feeling of reprieve that you get between missions. Lastly the base game only deals with the first 2 movies of the trilogy, causing the ending to feel gimped without the DLC. Overall if you want to play a LEGO game, just play the LEGO Star Wars: Complete Saga

Did a full playthrough on Xbox Gamepass, ended with about 38hrs on record. It has a few flaws, but i'd still give it a glowing recomendation. My biggest problem with the game was the bugs i encountered playing, mostly dying out of nowhere or having items lost to the void. Very relaxing game with a solid pace. Great for that exploration itch, the same kind Minecraft hits. Worth a playthrough, but not sure about the replayability, cant see myself coming back to this game.

Rogue-like deck building game. Very deep gameplay, kinda steep learning curve tho
