Fun game but the optimisation has some how gotten worse?

For reference (even though specs make no difference), I have an i7 10700k and an RTX 4080:

1080p 70fps outside the city, 25-35 inside the city (but its very, very choppy both inside and outside the city at times)

I haven't tested it in 1440p or 4k but after relaunching it several weeks after launch it runs worse, maybe I just brute forced my way into it on release and got used to it but its pretty bad.

Somehow the performance has gotten WORSE, not the game outright rewinds time when lag hits, freezes and is just completely broken. Honest thoughts, ONLY if you liked Dogma 1 - download Dogma 2 and try the performance out. If within 2 hours it runs awful as described above, refund it. Don't keep playing it like I did as now I can't even play the game anymore.

DLC is largely empty, none of the new weapons are particularly exciting. Unsure if they hotfixed the DLC but its not hard whatsoever, if you summon the mimic you might as well kick your feet up and let it deal 80% damage to the bosses. Remember the large bosses you hate fighting from base game? This DLC is full of them except they're not difficult they're just boring.

Didn't have any expectations for the DLC really, but for $40 you might as well buy Elden Ring on a separate Steam account and pretend you're enjoying it for the first time again, it'll be a lot more enjoyable than playing this.

Aware they stated a subscription model would be introduced at a later date, was unaware it'd cost £15 ($20) a month to play from then on... didn't even get the chance to play with the 'first month for free' as I took a break. Would not recommend at all.

I'll leave a positive review as the game is enjoyable, I did refund the game and am happy to repurchase at full price once the following issues have been addressed:

- Memory leak/poor optimisation
- Inability to attack randomly resulting in you needing to reload (absolute nightmare if you're clearing out a dungeon)

The second issue is considerably worse than the first however I'm sure it'll be fixed.

The warfare/combat really is as bad as everyone is making it out to be; makes you almost not want to war. You build your massive economy just for a country to literally buyout all of your stockpile AND put you into deficit. You can embargo them, you can reduce relations and they'll continue buying it all out. Enjoy playing as the central powers when you can't produce enough coal for all of France and yourself...
