If you're interested in early '80s Cold War gone-hot warfare, this is the best tactical combat simulation of battalion-level and below that you will find. It's the kind of game where reading about and applying real battlefield tactics of the USSR and NATO will actually benefit you in game. I don't know what the negative reviews are all about.

It has a few decent side-quests, but you are forced play through this whole DLC right at the end of the story, before you can complete it. That leaves a really bitter taste at the end of the game and sucks any fun out of the missions.

It's a bit like Euro Truck Simulator but with trains

Victoria 2 was my favourite paradox game, this is my new favourite paradox game. The economy simulation is very engaging, and scratches the resource management itch of something like OpenTTD. Of course there are some issues to be worked out, but it's already a very enjoyable game in its current form, and will just get better with time.

Great combination of a city builder, production line manager and transport tycoon, all wrapped up in a nice soviet bow. The construction system is immensely satisfying once you get the hang of it. Makes Cities Skylines seem boring in comparison.

Victoria 2 took me a while to really understand and get into, but once I'd managed it... I never looked back. This is an amazing game and I really recommend it, especially in combination with the DLCs and HPM mod.

Stop reading reviews and buy it!

If you're looking for ultra-realism (as in, you have to pull back the charging handle, adjust the focus of your optics, check your chamber for a round, stay hydrated, move you camera to use backup sights), then buy this right away.

For those complaining about the game already, it's Early Access, you buy it at your own risk...
