-really fun and unique traversal systems
-cool map, nice to see metropolis in a modern video game
-endearing character work, cool team dynamic. always been a bit of a sucker for villain stories
-animations, graphics, and overall visual design are fantastic
-gameplay loop is engaging enough (aggressiveness being encouraged with shield harvesting is fun)

negatives
-overall plot feels incomplete; although u do indeed kill the justice league tm. there's a large cliffhanger and several unanswered questions but that's kind of a consequence of it being a live service game (not that live service is inherently bad)
-maybe a hot take but i think i would rather pay for story/map expansions than getting nickel and dimed for decent cosmetics
-skeptical about the DLC lineup including mrs. freeze and an OC instead of like, killer frost and black manta or anyone else with a bit more curbside appeal and relevance to the IP

overall i've enjoyed my time with it and i look forward to seeing what eventually comes of the plot. i could see the gameplay getting old eventually, but it hasn't yet to me. it's unfortunate that this game has gotten such a bad rap before anyone gave it a fair shake. i think most people would have fun with this game in a vacuum. i still miss artifact and it sucks seeing the same thing happen here.
