The fact that my husband and I have played 70+ hours of this together and haven't gotten a divorce is incredible.

This game is so cozy! I find myself coming back to it whenever I need to wind down. I love the idea of telling a story through the unpacking of one's possessions.

Don't let the small play-time fool you - I finished this game on the PS4 and loved it so much I just knew I had to get it on the PC when it came out. It's visually gorgeous, immersive, fun, and has one of the best story lines I've played in years.

Every time I open this game I'm inspired all over again by the gorgeous art. The story is fantastic and the way the game incorporates dying into its mechanics is perfect for keeping players invested and building up experience. It took me an embarrassingly long time to actually beat the game and get the epilogue, but I had fun doing it!

There's nothing I can say about this game that hasn't already been said much better by others. Larian accomplished something very special with Baldur's Gate 3 - the attention and care they've given the game and the community has secured its legacy for years to come.

My favourite thing to do is to boot up Stardew Valley, mute the sound and put on a podcast in the background. The perfect way to unwind after a busy day. I already loved this game as a single-player adventure, but being able to invite my friends to come farm with me in the chillest game ever made is great.

I've had this game in my library for several years and after having stopped and started a few times in 2016, I finally took the plunge and finished it. I'm really, really glad I did.

From the outset, Obduction is a visually stunning game. Experience the creativity of industry behemoths Robyn and Rand Miller first-hand in beautifully rendered, fantastical detail. Never before has a Cyan game looked THIS good. Moreover, the sheer immersion of the environment serves to draw you in and keep you there - in a world very far away from home, deserted but for one man behind a steel door and a lot of complicated tasks ahead of you.

It's in this way that Obduction begins to emulate it's spiritual predecessor, Myst. The puzzles and play style of the game lend themselves strongly to Myst, as does the underlying goal. In Obduction, the player character must visit several worlds to put right what went wrong. Sound familiar?

Unlike Myst's signature linking books, however, the game uses seeds, trees and cells to transport you from place to place. This mechanic is, in my opinion, a stroke of brilliance - not only is it absolutely beautiful to watch the dazzling lightshow as a seed drops you from Hunrath to Kaptar to Maray, it carries gameplay significance as well, and is responsible for some of the most intriciate, innovative and downright frustrating, puzzles I've ever played through.

It's all part of the experience, though, and I wouldn't change it for anything. The final act culminates in an ending that is visually, tonally and emotionally distinctive and wraps the story up spectacularly. While others might complain that it was too linear an ending, I felt both eventualities were right for the choice you have to make.

Honestly, having only finished the game a scant few hours ago, I'm still having trouble picking my jaw up off the floor at the effect that ending has had on me!

Obduction is, in a word, unforgettable. It's made it's mark and I'm so glad I picked it up again. If you're a fan of puzzles, adventures, mysteries and sci-fi undertones, I highly recommend it.
