Game seemed fun. Doesn't support 32:9 aspect ratio or even 21:9. Put in for a refund. Might buy it down the road if support is added.

I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the recent requirement for PC players of Helldivers 2 to link their Steam accounts to a PlayStation Network (PSN) account. While I understand the intent to facilitate cross-play features, this mandate feels overly intrusive and unnecessary for those of us primarily playing through Steam.

Additionally, I am extremely concerned about the implications this has for data privacy. Sony, the parent company behind PSN, has a troubling history regarding user data security, most notably the severe data breach they experienced back in 2011. This incident led to the compromise of personal information from millions of accounts, and it remains a stark reminder of the potential risks involved in sharing sensitive data.

Forcing users to link their accounts under these circumstances not only undermines trust but also compels users to potentially expose their personal information to a platform with a not-so-reliable record on data protection. I hoped for better user-centric decisions from Arrowhead Game Studios and am disappointed by their current direction.

Unless there is a reconsideration of this policy, my recommendation for Helldivers 2 would unfortunately be to avoid purchasing if you are uncomfortable with unnecessary data-sharing practices.

Good Couples game. Didn't read into anything so we missed most of the story. Platforming was good.
