One of the best games I've ever played. Everything feels bigger, better and more polished than the original. The characters are all improved, especially support characters like Ash and Luis. Well made level-design that rewards smart plays rather just shooting everything that moves. Plenty of replay value with in game challenges like pistol only runs or getting S+ rank in Professional.
The DLCs are also top-tier. Mercenaries is a great, more action focused side-game and Separate Ways is better than a lot of games on it's own (looking at you RE3 remake)
Graphics and sound are both greatly improved as expected and the level of optimization is insane compared to other AAA games. you can play this on old graphics cards and still have a great time. I'll definitely keep coming back to play this often
