Civilization Beyond Earth has got to be, in my experience, one of the worst additions to the Civilization series. It is monotonous and has an uninteresting interface. I would consider myself a huge fan of turn-based strategy games and i love Civilization 5. It seems as though this sequel to the rest of the Civs is lacking in factions, interesting units, fun strategy and it certainly isnt as spacey as one made it seem. It makes me just want to carry on with Civ 5. There is a lot of improving to be done with this game to appeal to me. The game needs;
1) A better landscape - The current one is hiddeous and unimaginative.
2) More factions - The ideas behind the ones that are there are fabulous, however they lack in being clearly more different from one another so i feel like no matter who i choose i will be playing the same stategy.
3)The release price does not at all reflect the games value in its present state.
4) The Diplomacy interface is unorigional and too easy.
5) Finally, the level of difficulties are not challenging, it's almost like a game for Civ Noobs.

Overall however the game will be improved in the future i hope and it has some potential but right now i would not recommend the game in its current state.

The forest is probably my favourite game on PC and it just looks so good for an indie game.
The cannibals are a challenge and make the game so much more scary and yet interesting.
i cant wait to see what new updates will be released :D
