Cool artsyle, cool setting, cool gameplay, rewarding exploration, good enough plot.

Is let down by terrible performance (try turning down the pathfinding setting), but if you enjoy the game it won't really matter too much.

Short but sweet. Super stylish game, loved the aesthetics (the caustics...), retro, but not uninspired. The controls are good and it feels simple but satisfying to play. I wish there was some more story be it through documents, mission briefings or whatever; nothing too dense because I feel that'd take away from the game, but just some little tidbits here and there to help build the world which it seems the creators put at least some effort into thinking of.

The game is also a tad easy, I haven't finished the missions on hard difficulty yet but the only thing it seems to change is the removal of punishment target markers, and replaces all the guards with armoured ones. It's too forgiving when it comes to alert status. When I started I enjoyed sneaking around and taking in the sights a lot, but once I realised that you can just mow people down with little consequence I started speeding through the levels. It'd be nice if holding up guards did something extra because the way I see it, there's no reason not to just execute them, although I didn't use it too much so maybe it's better in some way. Holding them up and having a random enemy or camera marked would be good enough for me. The alert status seems kind of buggy, or just not as strict as it should be; I mean, if a guard gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slo-mo styled on and CODE-55 is blared out through the comms, shouldn't the whole place be on alert until the end of the mission, or at least longer than a couple seconds?

All that said though, I really enjoyed the game for what it is, and I'll probably finish the game on hard difficulty just for the achievements.

The only good BR I've played, very easy to find combat during a game instead of waiting around. Fast and actually fluid movement unlike Apex which allows you to punish campers without needing to third-party. Too bad game is dead.

Awesome, fast-paced, brutal shooter with really fantastic art style. I just wish it was a bit longer and had more upgrades/weapons, I managed to complete the game and get all the achievements within an hour. I can see myself occasionally coming back to this to do a run or two. Perhaps if you're really into leaderboards and getting the fastest times you can get more replayability out of it.

Early Access Review
Not worth picking up right now, even though it's dirt cheap. Save your money unless you believe in developers' promises.
Shows good potential though.

If you have buddies that are good at FPS games, and willing to put some cash down, then I highly recommend this.

Surprisingly addictive little puzzle game. I spend considerable time on some levels, but that may be because I'm innumerate and obsessed with getting 3 stars on every level.

Game looks like doo-doo, Preston Garvey is one of the worst voice-acted characters I've ever heard. The story is laughable, the dialogue even more so. "RPG" mechanics practically absent.
Shooting gameplay got better though, the game becomes tolerable if you install mods to make it less-interesting Stalker.
