This game is amazing. If you've ever wondered what it might be like to have psychosis or schizophrenia, this game is probably the closest you're going to get.
The end of the game brought a tear to my eye and I can't say that has ever happened in a video game like that before. This is a game with real depth and meaning - not a story that is a thin veneer around a combat system. The combat and problem solving aspects of the game play second string to the masterpiece that is the story, visuals and audio combined.
Just buy this game.

The game has a very steep learning curve which requires a lot of practice to get past. Unfortunately the matchmaking system is broken and the playerbase has dwindled so much that you'll spend 30-40mins waiting to get matched for 5-10mins of game play (where you'll basically get crushed.).
I'm fine with games with a steep skill curve and understand that it is me that needs to invest in getting better, but if I'm only getting about 15mins of gameplay for every hour of wall time, I'm not going to stick around to do it.
The game has been riddled with bugs and balance issues, yet the developers seem to be intently focused on adding more cosmetic stuff to sell you rather than making the base game worth playing.
Quake Champions has taken a wonderful franchise IP and quite frankly, tarnished it with this poorly executed cash grab.
