Been a fan since the original initially dropped, never had a Playstation console so I really was the Persona 5 fan who hasn't played the game. You should have seen my face when I heard Royal was dropping on Steam. Yes, I know everything that happens in Royal but I was still ecstatic to be able to finally get a copy of the game.

The game does have its flaws but holy hell, it is a great game overall. It has taken over my life right now. Akechi do be living rent free in my head, accompanied by No More What Ifs perpetually looping (I was meh on him during the initial game what the ♥♥♥♥ happened???) So what I'm trying to say is that if you can afford the $60 (or $41 on sale), absolutely try out this game. The soundtrack is jaw dropping and I am ready for my Spotify Wrapped 2023 to be absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by this game (all hail Lyn). And as someone going into graphic design, my contentment is immeasurable and my day is made. Damn good plot that has been so much more fleshed out compared to the original with new confidants and old revamped ones.

I am not done with my first playthrough, but I am already excited to gear up for NG+.
