Not bad.

CONS:
• I'd rather pay $30 for this game and then have the MTX shop reasonably priced. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ $200 for ONE costume is insane. I don't spend that much in clothes IRL.
• A lot of things are broken, doesn't work the way it says it does, is mistranslated or is outright miscalculated. You either follow what the characters say or what the subtitles say, forget trying to do both because they're not the same. The rewards described by the characters are often not the same as what you get either.
• Builds are varied but only some of them are good.
• Making your build not suck is an investment you'll not want to do if you play a healthy amount of time, or if you have friends to play with you the whole time
• Construction lacks some basic shapes and resources, clipping things is a nightmare and basic cosmetic resources are locked behind MTX such as... Glass panes. A fridge that doesn't look like it was picked straight out of a frat house (honestly why the ♥♥♥♥ the fridge built from scraps has stickers and magnets in it).
• Combat deviations are not balanced at all, you'll notice very quickly that you either pick the good ones or you'll be lagging behind.
• Trading in this game is so unsatisfying and it's ALL you'll ever see in World chat.
• The game was NOT designed for solo play. You are REQUIRED to play with friends.
• After the previously released scenario (how they call the seasons in the game, like in Path of Exile for example) they... Restarted them. No new content. Weird as ♥♥♥♥.

PROS
• The atmosphere is good and the soundtrack is good too.
• There are lots of weapon types and almost all of the weapon types have at least one good build
• Some builds and memetic especializations interact with one another in very satisfying ways
• The main PvE scenario (Manibus) has a very easy to understand progression
• The story can be really good sometimes and the recurring NPCs are charismatic

Honestly, this game needs to cook for another three years at least.

Great start for a game. Currently the monetization is bearable - some cosmetics are here but anything that's not cosmetic for sale is obtainable in game. More than that, it's the point of the game. Basically if you buy those things you are eliminating a part of the game for yourself.

Oh! The grind. This game is a looter shooter. You ARE going to grind. If it isn't your cup of tea, don't bother with it. I came from Warframe so I was not only aware, I was looking forward to it.

Some of the characters are really good for specific parts of the game, which in turn makes other characters obsolete, but I have played most of them by now and most of them are fun - except of Esiemo, but it's not his fault, he's a good guy.

The characters have their own personalities and it's quite entertaining to watch them interact during the story. Oh! There's the story. It starts repetitive and weird but it picks up around White-Night Gulch and it gets better from there. The cutscenes at the beginning of the game and Bunny's exclusive quest are good and I really want to watch more of these characters. More character specific quests are going to be added and I look forward to it.

The guns are exciting to play, but again, there are a few that are clearly better than others. Unique (craftable) guns are cool, with their unique abilites, and it makes the game stand out in my opinion. The gunplay is really fun.

There are a few issues with the game that need adressing, but all in all, I think it's a good game. It's new, and I hope it'll only get better from here.

Just dropping a negative review here, in the hopes of making the "Mixed" reviews turn into "Overwhelmingly Negative".

What I have to say about the game:
Pros:
• I like the gameplay.

Cons:
• Can't buy equipment without premium currency
• Game was made harder to force people into buying gear with premium currency
• You have 90 slots to gear up, at this point, 4 characters but there will be 20 when they add them all - This includes crafting material, pets, pet attacks, pet food, etc for each character.
• They removed content that was available and intent to add said content slowly so that people will keep playing for longer, instead of developing and adding new content. Very cheap and easy to see through.
• Premium currency has no regional pricing. Getting a full set of max level gear costs half a minimum wage in my country, despite being the region that plays the most - there are 13 south america servers (which are always full) 2 north america servers and 10 asia servers and 2 europe servers).

Anyway, if you really want to play this, try it out, it's free. But you won't get far.

While it certainly would have made me very happy if they had updated the sprites, I love it the way it is. I had to hold my tears the first time I entered Domino, Lumina and Geo.
