Not sure what sort of moron would defend this, but good job being utterly stupid.

Reviewing your own game effects the overall rating on steam, and as I mentioned there are laws against reviewing your own products, whether this applys to games I am unsure, but the laws are real.

Quite a few devs have got into crap for revieiwng their own games, and it honestly should not be allowed on Steam.

When someone comes to buy a game on launch day the overall review should not have been influenced by the devs of the game, just no.

Was just being silly, @Reser, my sincere apologies. Honestly if it is truly an issue I can remove the review. Just thought it would make someone smile. I also tried to be clear that it was in fact the dev that was writing the review... I wasn't trying to mislead by adding a positive review pretending it was a customer. My intention was not to game the reviews or mislead potential customers.

Would love to know where game devs get the idea that its a-ok to reivew their own games, when any other product there are clear laws against that sort of thing.
