Hours of fun for a great price. Everything you remember from the flash version and more. Just get it, already.

I gave Sunless Sea a try and enjoyed it but couldn't quite get into it. I liked it enough to try Sunless Skies, which (and I know I'm in the minority here) is much better. The goals are more clearly-defined, the resource management feels more fun, the combat feels more intuitive, the world feels bigger and more put together. Even the writing feels sharper. The developers improved upon it in almost every way. If you liked Sunless Sea, play this. If you didn't like Sunless Sea, I encourage you to try this. And if you haven't played Sunless Sea, but you like horror and LOTS of witty dialogue, play this (and Sunless Sea as well I suppose.)

It's a great loot shooter that doesn't take itself too seriously. If you try and do everything, it can overstay its welcome, though. I'm saying this as someone who plays it mainly single-player. Only played it a bit in multiplayer.

Yes, it has technical issues, but it has a good overall story from beginning to multiple interesting endings, and the gameplay is fun overall. I had a good time.

This game is everything you want in a modern point-and-click adventure: a good story, good puzzles, replayability, and even some character customization. If you like point-and-click adventures, you owe it to yourself to get this one. Even if you don't, this would be a good place to start.

It's Phoenix Wright with anthropomorphic animals in 18th-century France. If that doesn't sell you, I don't know what will.

This game contains game-breaking bugs. I encountered a point where I could not proceed unless I entered a room through the door, but doing so crashed the game.

Another game from Space Monkey, Black Swan, also contained a game-breaking bug, so clearly these developers don't care about making playable games. Avoid everything they do.

Contains game-breaking bugs. I've encountered some bad hidden-object games in my day, but I've never encountered one that was unplayable to the end.

(The solution presented was "try to play the game again from the beginning." In other words, "it's only unplayable sometimes.") Unacceptable. Avoid.

One of the coolest point-and-clicks around. It's smart, it keeps BS adventure logic to a minimum, the graphics are tight for an AGS game, and it's got a good cast of characters.
